what sort of turbo do you recommend Roy.....

ok so to recap i will be ok with a set of say 80mm pistons with standard crank and rods with a VG 30, GTR injectors, GTR Fuel pump, an APEXi SAFC yes it will be tuned on a dyno. so the maximun boost will be worked out on that. also i know i can get a re chip for the ecu.. so i can get that as a last resort

ok can i get away with a APEXi SAFC or do i need the whole kit and kaboodle ??? damn rebuilds minimide your bank accound figure i didn't really want to go aftermarket ecu purely because of cost.. thanks.

ok so dont boost it too much...whats too much ??? 1 bar 1.5 ..... yeah thanks i will call him tomoz..... in terms of turbo charger i got a rebuilt VG30 BB so that is bigger than standard ??? the block went today to get bored and balanced etc but he can't do anything tilll i get pistons.. ok so i am quickly loosing the idea of 4AGZE pistons... so if i get a set of pistons from stick that are say 80 mm 2 mm oversize than standard and use the VG 30 wanting to run between 1 and 1.5 bar of boost what do i need to get...fuel pump , injectors or can i get any with just a fuel reg ??? any body know ?? help is greatly appreciated

i am not after a specific power amount....i just want the engine to run well and have no problems....whatever power i get out is fine...money comes before power

so wil 4AGZE pistons fit onto the standard rods and standard crank ??? has anyone done the 4AGZE pistons in an RB20 ??? what are other pistons worth ??? and can i get anyway with using the standard injectors ??? Thanks

hey guys.. i have done searches on this but still can't answer the postion i am in so i am in need of some help.. i have decided to do a complete rebuild of my RB20 at a mates place who has all the tools... so far we have it all out and in pieces. cylinder #2 is stuffed so we decided it needs reboring.. sorry i have alot of questions ok the engine was completely stock, stock cooler and exhaust Now i have a rebuilt VG30 BB turbo for it.. a big cooler and a 3" exhaust comming soon Now what options for pistons do i have..i herd 4AGZE pistons work.. if i bore it out and use the 4AGZE pistons and VG30 turbo will i need to upgrade fuel system..if so what part or all of it. ??? or any other part ..ECU ??? if i bore it out and use RB25 crank and rods with 4AGZE pistons with VG30 turbo will need anything upgraded if so what if i bore it out and use RB26 crank and rods with 4AGZE pistons with VG30 turbo will need anything upgraded if so what what other options do i have...but it has to run with a VG30 and be bored out i am not out to get any sort of power figure i just want it to run sweet with no troubles. so if someone could send me in the right direction for a setup i would be very thankful thanks guys

hey guys you can get that tinted effect if you put your lights in the oven....i have herd about people doing this....any other guys herd of it....comes out just looking just like that i dont know if you can paint the inside of the lights without wrecking them can you???

hey guys i had the conversion done in my old car (R31 GTS-X) put an R32 gearbox into it... conversion was fine...i drove an original manual GTS-X and didn't feel much different..i left the auto ecu and diff in and seemed to run fine....about the P-N-D thing..i kept the selecter swithch which is about your palm size tucked away under the dash and made for a cheap immobiliser..just switch so it thinks its in drive and well, no start.. just taped it in Park instead of paying a sparky over $100 to hard wire it and hehe would really confuse people trying to steal it but anyway that my experience.

Lozza you reading this ???? while i'm at it i might as well ask i have see a red R32 just like mine but with lall the usual stuff lowered zorst bodykit etc..chrome wheels i think....does anyone on here own it...always see it around toukley and again today on pasific hwy heading towards wyong... yeah thanks guys i do take responsibilty for leaving the stuff on the back seat...funny thing i am normally really hard on me and gf on leaving stuff in site. and the one time i dont it gets flogged...damn this world...anyway yep my fault for leaving it there. It happened in Woy Woy...and well for all the coast people you know what that area's like...yes like blacktown by the sea....but anyway window wasn't too much to fix...good when you know people in the bus...but as for camera and game..expensive loss but i am thankful i still had a car to come out to !! yeah duncan now i can't compete in any more challenges....but i had fun killing it while it lasted...just have to wait till full version comes out...more people will have it then too so a bit more comptetion.. so i had an expensive learning experience ....so just a word to all you guys dont leave anything on the back seat or anywhere in sight.... makes me wonder on putting things like SAFC's etc on the dash...just a thought... hows this i had my car parked at my girlfriends house and last sunday my car, along with 2 others was parked on the front lawn of a quite street on the Central Coast. when i came out in the morning, i came to find someone had smashed my drivers side rear quarter window and hit it twice with something hard like a base ball bat i.e. you can see where they missed hit it and hit the metal surround then again and hit the glass. They stole my gran turismo 4 Prologue which i am pissed about but also and (i know is my fault for leaving it there) but my digital video camera which only evidence of my old R31 GTS-X and my trip to England with car shows...i am slowly getting over the fact i lost this stuff but it still anoys me that people go around at night looking for stuff to steal....and to top it all off my top of the line alarm/imobiliser which i had installed only a few months before didn't even make a sound...and when i opened the car in the morning it didn't do its usual beeps, as its surposed to when the alarm has gone off ....arrrrgg sorry about his guys but had to vent my anger heres a picture of the damaged window... just a question guys...have any of you tried drifting in this yet...i know you can't modify the setup but i already seems harder to drift than in GT3...GT3 i could drift D1 style..sideways before corners and everything..but this i can only seem to get 1..maybe 2 corners going....have any of you tried this yet.???jus wondering on your thoughts ???

i am having a bit of trouble getting any faster...i keep getting 100th of a second slower than 48.974...anyone else done any tim runs ??

ok boys after 1/2 hour of playing i recorded 48.974 high 47's are doable guys CS_180 yeah come over and have a look if you want...or just hire it from video ezy or blockbuster maybe we should organise a GT4 night for the coast guys...get together for a cruise then get into the game...have a few beers and see our times get slower and slower the more we drink..hehe catch ya'll
