Hey guys..just thought my effort was worth posting... 93 R32 GTS-t using completely STOCK (un-chipped) computer and stock auto transmission i got 208.1 RWKW at 1.4 BAR other mods are Cat back 3" zorst front mount incooler os gieken adj cam gear (exh only) Arias Forged pistons 20thou ovesize ported and polished heads 1mm oversize valves match ported manifolds ported exhaust manifold high flowed VG30 Turbo Sard Adj Fuel Reg Fully balanced bottom end AVCR boost ctrl k&n flat panel filter standard injectors GTR Fuel pump so after a manual conversion some injectors and a power FC should maybe hit around the 260 RWKW... i am surprised at the stock computer getting this far..well done NISSAN !!

  3. ebola...i am still runnning standard cams...but am running os geiken adj cam gears... waiting for gtr cams to see how they wil go with chipped ecu..there was a big thread about it a while ago....in terms of rev limit i have no idea....but with 20's power almost alwasy drops off after about 6800 - 7000 RPM so.....
  4. in terms of power i havn't done a power run as yet..i am stil adding bits a pieces and changing things around. it made 138 rwkw before it all and this is auto so would be a bit more if manual. It goes a sh1t load better since i did all of the stuff...the full potential hasn't been reached yet but from the mods i have done and from what i seen other people get i would say that it would have to be easy over 200rwkw...but it has alot of variables...you could put arias pistons in, other rods , over sized valves etc and still have the same amount of power that you started with or very little more... it will aid greatly if adding biggger turbos and more boost etc yes the valves do fit..they are in my car now !! i guess it comes down to what you want to achieve with the engine on whether it will be worth it and whether it make a worthwhile difference. And whether to get aftermarket rods..... what do you want to achieve ???
  5. hey carl h...i have done pretty much what you want to do. i can say that the arias pistons are great.. haven't had any problems with them...they were nicely made with about 1 - 2 grams difference between the 6... so weight mathcing them was easy.... About the rods i dont know, i used the standard ones...just got them ballanced and weight matched.... in terms of head work i got the head ported and polished with 1mm oversized valves..you will find that ca18 valves are perfect for it..they are 1 mm larger than standard rb20 ones and fit with no trouble... hope that helps....   6. hey guys get yourself some stuff called purple polish.....best stuff eva....good for chrome and alloy.....all metals. its a bit expensive but well worth it... i have a mate who works for OMIKRON (they supply detailing stuff for the car industry) and they sell it bout $30 a bottle. But if your in the city Call the head office.. they will be able to get you some...i dont know anywhere else you can get it....(02)9559 3366 Later
  7. Hey i had this problem...snapped spedo cable. power steer lasted 5 mins after each startup and hicas light comes on permanently and no speedo.

RB20DET Bottom End balanced crank weight matched rods and pistons Arias 20 thou oversize pistons all new bearings Top End all new valves 1mm oversize ported and polished head polished exhaust manifold match ported manifolds adjustable cam gears rest of car FMIC 3" zorst turbo back Rebuild VG30 turbo sard adjustable fuel reg GTR fuel pump k and n flat panel with CAI ecu re-chip 1 BAR of boost and has anyone does these sort of mods on their RB20 ?? if so what rwkw did you get i am about 2 weeks away from that list on my 32

  17. please wld808 get your facts straight mate before you post stuf like that up ....especially when you can't be bothered to read it all his son was allowed to drive it while he was overseas but only a few days a week....he left on monday night to go down the road to get smokes from the servo and saw the other 2 passengers by chance.....the other male had alwaws envied the car and asked for a lift home... if any of you guys have doubts about it ask me...dont just assume things.....sorry but i hate gossip when it about delicate issues like this....i hope you can all relate Aaron

  19. yeah guys it was my best mate driving....i was rebuilding my R32 with him in his back shed...it was edit name removed son i will be organising a cruise in memory of them all and to pay respect to the family of which i klnow very well........i hope everyone can come along It is a very Sad Day
  20. get a nice sharp razor balde a work our way around... its only the glue holding it in once youve taken th4e surround out.....i did this with my 32 after someone smashed it there are 3 lugs that are stuck within the glue that you have to work around...they are a pain in the a s s. one on the top and bottom edge and the other in at the bottom of the boot side edge. hope that helps Aaron
  21. is any one using Arias pistons in their RB20 did they notice any difference or have any problems??? Yeah i guess if they say 82 then i guess can't be too bad....but that still is alot.
  22. going out to 82 mm bore is very oversize....that must be getting close to the water jackets ?? not such a great idea on turbo engines ???? has any taken the bore out this far ??? i just got 0.5mm oversize done with Arias Pistons so prices were as follows Bore Block - $180 Line Hone - $240 Balance of Crank,rods and pistons - $280 Deck Block $65 (New Pistons had a range of 2 grams now an even 297.5g) hope that helps
  23. na someone surely must have seen one around somewhere at some point in time na i got the otto cycle....and carnott etc ok broaden the area any specific diagram for an engine...ford mazda whatever. has anyone sat down and tried to work it out ??? you need alot of info to do it though hmm maybe i am asking for something way to hard to find....but hey..worth a try
  24. hey all doing an engineering project as was wondering if any one had a p-V diagram for either an RB20 RB25 or Rb26 in standard form and if anyone has one after modifications and if so what modification were done. like Compression Ratio increase or whaterver. If no one has got one, has anyone ever seen one and if so can you either draw a sketch or describe it, Thanks
