the whole idea is get people off the street and preventing them from taking out people's letter boxes....and give them/us a safe place to practice without worrying about hurting other and minimising ythe damage to your car i.e. no guttering will come out of no where and get in your path...damn those gutters...got a mind of their own dont they...

oh yeah ....like i said before multi millions is ok money is not the problem to start with ....its just making it back and then continuing with profit each year....which is good news for us who want it...bottom line is if they can see it making money there is no reason why it wont go ahead. yes track design is like i said extremely important...we are taking ideas from all sorts of different people and places and trying to figure a few designs out how often you guys individually would go to use it ?? once a week , 2 weeks, month, 3 months etc i know it will be different for everyone by just post up and let us know

oh thank for getting rid of those squares .. that would be an excelent idea i will get into contact with them... do you you think they would be ok with a drift track...yes it would be prob be interchangable and all ...then again i can't see why not...how often do they use the hill climb ??? hey not that would be somthing to see an MG drifting at D1 haha cool thank guy

hey b-man oh course they will want a return on the investment they make. CC_pulsar said it almost perfectly. they are willing to spend the money to create something people will use, only if they can get a return. There is no point building a track that wont be used and therefor not make back the money. the plan for this is currently being made, and from what i have herd it is long and very detailed, including alot more than just risks and benifits i assure you. what would you be willing to pay b-man..of course its not going to be $500 :headspin: i dont know numbers but would be intersting to see what everyone thinks is a reasonable price. i like the idea of a big square skid pad area for the newbies and i think that is included in the plan...but thats great ideas keep em comming the track design is the most important part (except saftey) and they are wanting as much input as they can get. they are speaking to pro's about it no doubt but i think they would be intersested to hear from the people going to be using it. are there any people who have been to japan and seen/driven on a purpose build drift track ?? rezz maybe ?? if so , do you have any ideas or things to avoid in the process of designing the track. anything at all ----what do you guys think of a drift shop at the track...would you want a spare parts shop at the track ??? ----what about if there was a supply of tyres you could buy at the track and get them fitted to your spare set of rims. Then all you would need is a spare set of rims and you dont have to worry about driving home on bald tyres or running out of rubber to drift with before its time to go home ?? thank guys

yeah i thought about location near somersby but Gosford council wont have a bar of it and if they did it would take them years to let anyone do it so.. location like i said i have no idea where. they have to find somewhere where council will let them but i dont think it will be much of a problem. Tracks designs are important..they are currently researching that aspect...you guys are the ones going to be using them so if you guys want to come up with some ideas for tracks i will surely present them to them. the more information you guys can give me the more i can present to them and more chance of getting something really great that everyone will like.. in terms of spectators i have no doubt that it will a big part of design as alot of people are going to want to watch this sport/art form. if you guys have any ideas on any part of the track/course/park like training days and how they should be held competitions and how they should be held open times safety for drivers and spectators rankings for drivers anything at all please post up or email me pictures of concepts are great especially for track designs and such... yeah i told them insurance would be a problem but apparently not ...oh well...let them figure it out yeah i like the idea of a slow course...and yeah i might let him know about the twin track idea... - any other ideas you guys would like to see at a course.. Safety is going to be a huge priority, there wouldn't be much point making a track to give everyone a place to do it if its just as dangerous as doing it on the streets..the whole idea to provide a safe environment for people to do it. what about a fixed track or one similar to driftland in the drift bible where its a maze and then you are able to make a track by blocking sections off.

hey guys..this is very exciting...i have been in contact with a few people who are looking at building NSW's first dedicated drift track and they are not mucking around...money is no object for them. This will enable people to practice and then compete. i have been asked to find out how many people would like to see this sort of thing happen....i dont have many details on where,when,cost or what else is going to be there but there is talk maybe another drag strip aswell in the same "park" so if you think you will use this track at least once in your life time post up how you feel about it :headspin: The more people the better Thanks Guys... HEY bbenny just a thought but in the process of taking it all apart you may have accidently disconnected 1 or a few vacuum hoses...i know when i was mucking around puting in a catch can i knocked a vacuum hose and it did the same thing...idle would drop then die....similar to when you have a stock RB20DET and disconnect the plumb back pipe from the BOV just a thought..maybe check all ther hoses Aaron

hey guys i herd that a general rule of telling if your kms have been wound back is that the number 5's dont line up...i saw a car once that had the kms wound back and sure enough the 5's didn't line up...dont know if its true with every type of car by just thought i'd let you guys know. Aaron

not sure about the part number but i am pritty sure that its only a cut peice of grey platic that slides in and held by some tabs...looks poor had the same thing in the back of my r31 gts-x i thought the person who had it before had just put it there but when i saw the same plastic material in my r32 i came to the conclusion it came from nissan my 2 cents Aaron

i use to have a r31 gts-x and on my long journey of finding body kits as well the best i could come up tith was the r31 house i think it was www.r31house.co.jp the website in japanese only but they have the best stuff and info on the GT series in the r31's they have an online shop so you can buy from there happy looking hope that helps Aaron

Hey Guys sorry if i missed something on the threads but is something going on, on the central coast this weekend because i just spotted the same trailer that carried the Winfeild GTR to the Show & Shine going Terrigal Way Or does the owner live on the coast or is there a number of trailers looking the same and inside the 1 i saw might be an old rally car or something ?? Just wondering and thought i'd ask because its not every day you see that trailer driving around ...well on the coast anyway Cheers Guys

umm....i dont remember if a magna was following i dont take notice what car is following unless its a import or police.... what servo were you at that prob easier to see if it was me and evolution MR i dont have pics yet but will post up later

i have a red r32 with a black wing but live on the central coast but i was at a shell about then maybe about 8 am ...on the way to paint ball !!!! which is soooo good recomend to all

just a quick question is there any way to tell how much your car will be lowered by a pair of schocks sitting on the workshop floor like is there any measurements you can do to see or work it out cause i am able to get a full set of shocks from a mate but i dont want to have to put them in to see that they are to low and then have to take em out he got them from japan and doesn't know how low they are just seeing if i can save the hassel and time thanks Aaron

hey guys i have a question about turbo's i have done a search but can't find much i have an standard rb20DET turbo that has beeen rebuilt with a steel wheel but needs new oil seals i also have a RB25DET standard turbo that is also blown seals and has shaft play now my question is using new seals can i make a new turbo combination to put on my R32 GTS-T that will be a decent up grade so i can head eventually towards 200rwkw like the steel wheel out of the rb20 into the rb25 turbo etc and if so what can i do and what sort of boost will it be able to hold thanks for any help Aaron
