  2. I wouldnt mind checking any out... manual of course.. cheers
  3. not reallly .. http://www.carsales.com.au/pls/carsales/!c...rch_distance=25
  4. selling for 21k its like new.. one of the cleanest skylines you will find in perth... and 100% mechanically sound.
  5. thanks for all the replies ...keep em coming.. I have heard twin turbo 3 litre supras are as quick as the gtr's... is this true?
  6. Ok so I’m still in the process of selling my 97 gts-t, but once that is done I want one of three cars. I can not decide between these cars and I hope you guys will help me out. I will point out my ideas for each car. 96-98 Supra (i think its the rz model) twin turbo - ok I have always liked supra's the shape and style and i have heard the twin turbos are very quick. I am just not sure if i want to move away from skylines. 98-99 r34 gt-t skyline I really like the idea of a newer cars and don’t mind a little less power for a much newer car and shape. Yeah I really do like the neo engine and the r34 shape. one problem with buying a gt-t is i think that the value would drop a lot more and a lot quicker then the supra or gtr. I don’t like the idea of having a car that is common in a few years and worth half the money. 95-96 r33 vspec gtr skyline what do i need to say gtr's are the shit much respect... I just don’t think it would be in as good condition in-side or out as the gt-t or supra having a car that looks and feels new is important to me... if it wasn’t i would be looking at r32 gtr's... Before I started this thread i felt like i had a lot more to say... but now that it’s down I can’t think of much... Thoughts? cheers
  7. I am 23 on P plates and had been driving for 10 months with one minor speeding fine and have my skyline insured for 21k for about $1600 a year full comp. The price didnt even change after I told them i was waiting to go to court for a DUI, they said it would only effect me next year in the tune of $300+ on the prem.
  8. I am going to see how it goes in the quokka only this wek for 21k .... was thinking of paid advertising next week if it doesnt sell, has anyone used autotrader? better then the sunday times?
  9. I feel so ripped off ... my car is better for hardly any more money and it hasnt sold... lol
  10. Thanks for all the replies guys, I wont be dropping the price below $21k as I believe its already a good price. I had it advertised in the sunday times and the quokka and got more calls from the sunday times of all places... Not sure if i want to put it in for another 4 weeks ill see how my quokka ad goes this week. laters
  11. spec II type m ..i thought was the same thing as m-spec? was just a guess...
  12. I have a 97 gts-t spec II type M with 74,000 km and I have advertised it for 4 weeks in various publications and have received a trickle of interest. I have been really surprised at the lack of interest, a friend of mine selling a really old corolla for $500 received about ten times more interest from only one ad. I am sick of time wasters who act all interested then fail to even call back. I am currently selling the car for $21k which is at least 2k less then a dealer would sell the same car for. A bargain price considering it would cost nearly that to import it yourself. Is it normal for it to take ages to sell a skyline? I am not in a rush as such to sell it but the longer it takes the longer I wont have a nice new car when I get my license back in 10 weeks from a DUI.
  13. whats the point? someone with more money will have a faster car... if you buy a newer car you get a car thats looks newer and feels newer and handles newer and smells newer and has all those new features. thruth is i would rather a more stock newer gtr that i can throw a few simple mods at ... like boost controler ..fmic... exhuast.. mags etc
  14. maybe my first post would be a long the lines of... would you go for a newer gtr or slightly older vspec if you were importing one?
  15. yeah I was thinking i could possibly save money or get a newer car by going for a non vspec... the difference seems to be very small.
  16. I hope to soon be importing the best r33 gtr i can get for 40odd thousand $ and I was wondering what advantages the vspeec's have over non vspec gtr's? thanks
  17. interesting ... I am selling my 97 gts-t to buy a 95-96 vspec gtr ... 40k seems like a decent price ... 30,000 km's seems a little low.... if it was a better colour i would probably take it off your hands before you could say YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
  18. lol im in the same situation.... need to sell my 97 gts-t for 20k+ so i can import a r33 gtr
