  3. the game gets real boring real quick at 60. I have a 60 rogue on BR, I canceled the game a couple of weeks ago. so many bugs boring game play no customer service got better things to do.
  4. white black silver the most boring common colours. 50% of cars are white, I pity anyone with a white sports car
  5. why are there even tariffs on importing anything? the govt sux.
  6. I used Tony at http://www.motorworldjapan.com/cars/
  7. Brokers have ZERO control over the process all they do is pass on information to you. When is it ever a good idea to have an extra person in the chain with no real input or control, just there recycling information? It is much easier to deal with all the people involved by email or by phone if you need a quicker response. If you don’t have time to send an email or make a 5 minute phone call then... keep using brokers because you seriously need the help.
  8. Hate to be the one to inform you mate But you do everything your self even when you use an import broker. Who contacts compliance? You do Who sends all the paper work to compliance? You do Who pays compliance? You do Who pays the jap exporter? You do Who contacts the customer broker? You do Who pays the custom broker? You do Who sends all the paper work to the compliance broker? You do An import broker makes money because people think importing is hard and scary and they also think that they cant deal directly with the people they need to. Lets look at what a broker does for you. They can send you auction lists per day and allow you to bid. This is just done through a jap company, nothing is stopping you using the jap company yourself. They have Web Pages that display cars in stock at Japanese export yards. Did you know these export yards also have a web site (in all cases I have seen) that give you the same access to viewing? Difference is you don’t pay a broker a fee. They contact the exporter and arrange the buy. Did you know you can do this yourself? Email the guy in Japan? Closer to a deal? Ring the guy? plenty speak English or are aussie. They give you details of compliance workshops and custom brokers. How hard is it to get these details anyway ask on forums? Look in the white or yellow pages? Feel free to add anything I have missed. Cheers
  9. My last gts-t was 237HP with just a cat back exhaust and air pod.
  10. 50km is the stupidest speed limit ever in a non residential area. those cops were pricks. they could have given you a warning for such a minor infringement
  11. Import101 DO NOT HAVE STOCK IN JAPAN. They know how to ring a japanese exporter and buy from their stock list. There is a huge difference. What is stopping you ringing the japanese exporter yourself and buying the car without paying imports101 a service fee? yeah they have access to the auctions but yet again they are probably just going through someone you could go through, with out the added costs. p.s. I have nothing against imports101 or anyone who works for them. I do have a problem with people thinking getting a guy here to do some of the leg work for you is the only or best way to go.
  12. Wouldnt it be a lot more useful to contact someoen in japan who has a a lot of cars in stock or direct access to the auctions?
  13. sif you will sell them without pics

  15. One time some aboriginal guys went into a Mercedes dealership. The sales guy came out and treated them anyone else. They ended up buying a car, and also told the sales guy they had just been down at a BMW dealership and the sales people there refused to even come out and talk to them. They apparently came back later in the week and bought two more Mercedes. lol Something to do with a lottery win
  16. So your passion only extends as far as buying one of the crappest skylines available? lol dude non turbo 32 4 door p.s. Hi
  17. Try tony at motorworld he is a good bloke and from australia and works for a big jap exporter. http://www.motorworldjapan.com/cars/ what ever you do dont pay an aussie broker!
  18. I cant be bothered reading all of your post. I know how importing works, the process is easy. compliance guy does your compliance, import approval. Custom broker sorts out all the wharf stuff and payments. It just takes time and money and of course patiance. Last time I had no problems, just had to wait ages. *taps wood*
  19. mine says 3.5 so I am pretty sure I will have no problems in compliance. Here is my auction report, looks ok to me.
