  4. yeh i had an alpine tape dek and 6 stacker in my old ford landau coupe i was also impressed with that that was like 10 years old

  6. whats the best way to tell if your oil pump is buggered my gague dosnt move but i dont want to have to buy a new gauge if its the oil pump and visa versa :kick:
  7. one good thing about the 26 motor in the GTST is the fact that the GTST is is about 300 kgs lighter than the GTR which = fun im not sure what that is in pound but it is some big weight my motor is still pretty fresh only about 80,000 on the klock so not ready for a rebuild just yet
  8. to rbsileighty at the moment it all comes down to budget coz i dont have a verry big one im not a verry paitient man i want power and i want it now he he he he i love the rb26 motor and all probebly more than the rb20 and the rb25 put togather but i have to think would it be worth it to can the whole idea and jump on the GTR band wagon and sell the GTST for one. i dont know desicions desicions i must admit im a bit wary of the rb25 im not sure why though he he he their is another option i could stroke the rb20 i think they come as a rb24 or rb22 any way chears for the imfo it gets the old grey matter ticking :wavey:
  9. both bikes will scare the pants off you i had an r6 they are a little lighter and have a fraction more power unless that has changed with the current models. i cant realy compare coz i have never ridden a CBR but i was more than happy with my R6
  10. hey any thing is possible with the right funds i have seen them with sr20 motors in them
  11. i might just build up the rb20 as far as i can go on stock inturnals and then build up a rb25 short motor and swap all the hardware over

  13. good point on the 26 conversion i guess im getting a bit exited over possible mods for i would be happy with 200 to 250 rwkw and as my origonal question was how streetable is an rb20 at this kind of power say compared to the 25 engine is the dollar value worth the conversion for the tourque gain? :boobies2:
  14. yeh im leaning towards the rb25 most hardwear bolt bolts from one to another any waylike torbos and ect so I can still get the rb20 pumping whill im building the rb25 block might even stroke the rb25 for even more torque or maby an rb30 with an rb25 head ahhh my brain hurts :sadam: :boobies2:

  17. thanx man thats the answer i was looking for. Im about to satart a project so i was looking to find a cheep engine ither rb20 or rb25 and build it up while im still running my stocker rb20det i supose it dont matter to much about strengh coz i was going to run fourged pistons and rods any way and more than likeley balence to handle 9000rpm just trying to make a choice on which one to go for btw its in an r32gtst thax guys

  20. stronger as in which one will wear out quicker i have heard the rb25 have proplems with their ring lands up around 250 rwkw
