So an update. Got my tank open this morning, I already have a Walbro in there. It has the foam hosuing on it, and does not sound like a toy drill. The new pump, attached it and turned on the engine, sounds a lot like the fake pump that is in the link earlier in the thread. The pump in my tank is a GSS341, the one I wanted to put in a 342. I am sure the 341 will provide me the flow I need to get my car tuned, so am sticking with the pump that I have on, and won't be buying from that dealer again. Thanks guys.

Hmm this thread is the first I've seen of issues with Walbro's but I am very new to owning a car I wish to modify, so that matters not really. Gonna put the pump in tomorrow, won't be taking the car to get tuned until after the New Year, and that is after I get it looked over first anyway, so I'll have some time with the pump in to see how it goes on the stock ECU and tune, if it's shit I'll just buy a new pump quick smart!

If you need that one in particular, give SSS Automotive a call, the guy there was trying to sell me one when I went in for something else, said he had a bunch of them. EDIT: Actually he said R33, not sure what series, but probably has S2.

Why would the mirrors be a defect?

The only part numbers I can find anywhere when I try and look stuff up all have GSS.

Some of these came on my R32 when I bought it, they are awesome, buy them!

Mine didn't come in a box, that was what worried me, came in a courier satchel with the other branded accessories, I mean the wiring harness and all fit, just seemed odd. Could be that the shop had the pump but had run out of kits so sent that out to me I guess. It looks like yours, and appears to be metal inside, so maybe it's all good.

Hi peeps, bought a Walbro 255lph replacement kit for my 32 GTST during the parts gathering for my build and tune. Well while floating about the internet I have noticed some talk about fake Walbro pumps, and some things about mine have made me feel a little paranoid about maybe I have been stung here. My kit didn't come in a walbro box, just a 3kg shiping satchell. It didn't come with the foam to put around the outside of it to sit snug inside the fuel pump assembly, the installation instructions are for a deatsch werks pump, and there are no heat shrink pieces to go around the spliced sections of wire, and also the bag it came in and the pump smelled a bit, kind of mouldy. Now I did buy it from a place in NSW online that from their website appeared to be a legitimate performance shop, but still can I be sure? I'll attach some pics, what do you guys think?

Saw a very fast R34, white with green decals on the bonnet, absolutely strapping it through the industrial area near Clar Rubber in Penrith.

Just changed the coil packs in my car for some brand new OEM ones that I found at a bargain price, but when I got the engine open I found that the ones that were in it are in really good shape, so they can be yours for $200. I also have a blank GTR key that I am looking to part with, $65 and it's yours. I am in Western Sydney, but am happy to ship, they are pretty small after all. Blow off valve is cut off the pipe now, so I'm just going to hang onto it. Seat and wheels still here.

I have a 32 GTST drivers seat sitting in my lounge room in good condition, only taken out so I could complete the set of 32 GTR seats in my GTST, I'll send you a pm.

Is the interior mirror bigger than the one on the R32? Could you measure it for me? I feel like I could use a slightly bigger mirror in my car.

After a water in the drivers footwell incident and fixing up my rubber grommet that passes the wiring into the cabin, I am on the hunt for an inner guard for my R32 GTST to help divert water away and not rely on the rubber only, if you have one pm me a price. Cheers.

How much wear is on the clutch?

I am not sure if the boot light fixed itself, as it only worked properly for less than a minute, and I have the globe removed currently so as to not have any chance of draining the battery. Will have to pop down to Jaycar I think and grab a multimeter.
