sweet mine has the same problem, i think mine needs a new battery anyway, as if i leave the car for 1 to 2 weeks and dont start it the battery goes flat :confused:

when i take the batt out i just use a steel spanner, but when you do the postive side don't touch the body with the spanner when undoing it -
I bet it is the light switch is on the way out, my r32 used to have sort of the same problem but whenever i went from low beam to high all my lights would turn off an you had to turn the switch off and on to get them working again. i went and got a new switch put it in and it hasn't happened yet. i hope that helps but if it dosen't im a tool :chairshot

when i took my back seat out i just used the end of a shifter bye giving it a bit of leverage and it went "pop" and it was out easy :uh-huh:

Strut Brace won't fit!

this happened to me but it wasn't the motor when we put my c/f bonnet on the strut brace that was on there to high so i went out an got a whiteline one abd that was fine the one i took off might fit your car -
I think i might of filled my engine with too much oil?

hehe my mate a couple of years ago did that, his dad told him to go down to the servo to top up with a bit of oil cause it was low,so he did when he got back he say's to his old man it took ages to fill up i went though 3 bottles and its still not full, well he was never aloud to do anything for his old man again -
[the good old rb20 didn't miss a beat! ] i second that i drove from melbourne to sydney and back in a day/night and the car didnt use any water and it was even cheaper on petrol than my ute GO THE RB20's

one thing I would like to know is when you turn on the front window defroster on why does the air cond come on? can you make the heater come on instead?
