  1. And... Leave the taps open when you turn the water on to flush out the brass shavings, closing the tap on shavings just puts a groove in the washer and they leak. Hydroseal is a good lube for them, and you may need to seal the thread again with teflon tape or Lockseal. Leaking spindles need replacing, they are cheap and its easier than refitting o-rings etc. dads rule!
  2. Look for a small panel or door in one of the walls, Its probly in the laundry, or hidden in a cupboard or wardrobe, There will be a tap, you may have to look around with a torch inside the wall to find it. Or if it has an underground carpark they may be on the ceiling down there. I have most plumbing tools, includung the tap reseater you will want for this job. Ps spend the extra 5c per washer and get the good ones
  3. It may make it more twitchy too If it was a bike you would really notice it, You know how on a bike the fork angle and offset of the hub control the feel of the steering? Well im thinking its going to have some of that effect too. So what is the difference in strut angle from the z32? Also that longer distance from the hub means the wheel has more leverage to work against the steering, and the steering has more work/load to steer. Maybe a z32 rack would fix it? You must be doing this for drifting? Ps: i understand bike suspension but not cars.
  4. Hahahaha! Your only 24, drive a normal car for 6 months and tell me that again. It is possible you can get over it but not likely. I just think your feeling a bit down today. Power is addictive. Good luck.
  5. mmmmmm.... parts I agree get a s-box they are more fun
  6. i got one if you need to borrow it. Ill pm you my number.
  7. The jjr split dump fouls on the coolant line on an rb20 so you have to move it. If you go cheap be prepared for re welding the exhaust to fit.
  8. Ive seen it around
  9. Aww come on man its fully sik! Hahaha, no even im not that bad! Ps: i name and shame myself for being a total noob at Battlefeild after playing for 10 years.
  10. i think about buying a generator every year in the fire season im sure i will next year too, i should just go get one. Pump, tank and generator is a good combo to have. Not a good time to be on the highway, drive her onto the beach if you have to. salt is bad but fires worse. post a hello or something when your in the clear dude.
  11. big smoke to the north, like a front not a smoke cloud. itl be that fire south of yass
  12. Hmm... lots of opinions and guesses. Think about it though, ive had bikes that drink fuel like a skyline, and cars that are even worse(kingswood v8). But by the time they are really worth something there will be very little petrol left. All collectible cars will just be expensive sculptures. Reality sux sometimes. Drive them and enjoy them while we can
  13. Want race car! Cant afford, close enough is good enough.
  14. I have a 32 with rb20det and always had heat problems. I knew cos i got oil and water temp gauges after it overheated a couple of times. I got an ebay radiator, no difference. I got an oil cooler, small difference. I removed the aircon, no difference. I got a GTR front bar, huge difference. Airflow is everything. If it was done in reverse order id see what difference there was between each change. The thermos are there cos i cant fit the factory fan cos of a cheap intercooler pipng kit. So now ill experiment with corflute and duct tape to make some deflectors/vents, as after reading this thread im sure its the way to go. A cheap radiator and intercooler should be fine with enough airflow, right? Shes a bit rough, many things made from scrap metal with hand tools.
  15. Instinct vs civilisation.
  16. Aaarrr! ye scurvy dog. Happy new year all you crazy skyliners!
  17. Yeow! All the angry pants need to chill out a bit. Just drive safe, no one needs to prove anything, like who was in the wrong. That should be a given if you have a drivers licence. Even be safe on the track, cant wait to get on the track myself and enjoy my skyline. AND you Vic guys dont know what its like having the summernats diks EVERY year. Capt Mik
  18. Damage from a Spanish galleon. Ships carpenters patched it up.
  19. Top bloke. BUT... It was great to see you guys and your rides. Mitchell to the lake was the biggest SAU cruise ive been in. Richard i hope shes ok and fixed easy (not likely easy though). I always love seeing your 32. No pics from me today, uncharged camera battery.
  20. Hope so, ive got crazy indicators. sanding today just about to ask that, ok cool 9:30 then
  21. Want N1 vents for R32 GTR front bar.
  22. I have a set of fairly new vents in the car (bout 1 year old) i sort of dont need them anymore as the ducts are not hooked up anymore. The only problem id have with selling them is what do i put in the holes in the dash? i cant think of anything easy that would look ok. If you have a solution ill sell them to you cheap. Brand new ones out of the box are better so do that if you can afford it. Like in Sins pic you can see the plastic bag, fresh produce!
  23. I think we are waiting for stinkypoo to finalise the date, time and place cos hes the pro photographer with the good gear/skills. That gold 32 gtr colour looks really nice in the photo, cant wait too see it in the flesh. Very good choice. Shows very good taste.
  24. So when you told the police that some guy, who you know, stole something from you a few years ago, did they tell you to get lost? Cos they arent interested in stupid sht like that. Firstly you have to tell them about it when it happens, secondly if it involves a mate they say sort it out yourself. Been there done that, sort it out yourself, dont whinge to us, we dont care. Good luck mate!
