  1. Biggest load of rubbish I have ever heard. f**ken tight arses! Who the f**k do you think you are. I say if people don't like a 26 then don't buy a gtr. The 26 is more than capable in every way.... Dickwad.
  2. In response, I post this. No offense intended but 4f@cksSake
  3. Fark needs more response?? You have the wrong car. Sell it. You need a 7 litre V8 with a 5 grand stall.
  4. If most look a bit deeper the truth is quite obvious, you didn't have to be Nostradamus to worked it out 30 pages back. Nothing has changed in 15 years of forum garage battles. A shame really. But what's important is Pete gets his car back and is happy with it.
  5. Thanks mate, what's the conversion from km/h to rpm. I always fkn forget.
  6. Don't bother mate, this 'garage wars' shit has always happened, not worth giving it fuel.
  7. Can you post up your graph to compare. It would be a great reference.
  8. I agree.... Something is going on here. But your right, regardless the result is good and expected with the setup.
  9. Garage wars all over again..... Good to see nothing has changed in 20 years.
  10. Well congratulations Pete. Good to see you got the right results with a 6266. E85 will be interesting.
  11. Mmmmm must have been the perfect setup then.......
  12. IMO for light track and majority of street duties don't bother, as running negative camber on the street is a pita. Just get a bush kit. I think one kit offers an offset bushes to assist in camber adjustment for a good alignment. I think it can go to an additional -2 degrees. A better investment for the track is a good set of track tyres.
  13. Yep diesel engine oils usually contain higher levels of dispersants to prevent the soot particles from agglomerating. Historically they have always contained higher zinc which has significant anti-wear properties. They got rid of zinc in the 80s because of catalytic converter contamination fears but recently started to reintroduce it into petrol engine oils. I have used it since 2007 in my LS2 and for 5 years in my RB. When I blew my turbo couple of years ago I pulled the sump off and it was amazing. No deposits at all. This is a link to the post with picture of my bottom end after 30000 km of abuse. http://www.sau.com.au/forums/index.php?/topic/22458-The-Goods-On-Oils#entry7381708
  14. Area under the curve is what matters.... ....... From 5000rpm up.
  15. Been using this for years. Could never fault it.
  16. Oil selection depends on tolerances really. 5W30 for some and 10W60 for others. It all depends. I think your main issue is cooling. Maybe reevaluate your cooler efficiency, especially net airflow.
  17. Good stuff. Will go tomorrow and grap some.
  18. Andrew changed the drivetrain ratios, put in 6 speed and kept the 5 speed diff ratios. Similar as putting shorter diff ratios in a 5 speed.Mines changes the diff ratios in a 6 speed don't know the ratios though.
  19. What's there to prove, A VL block with same setup boost will come in earlier and off boost there will be more torque. What Andrew did was great and just reconfirmed what Mines did all those years ago. People have been changing diff ratios for a 100 years to make their cars accelerate faster. Nothing new.
  20. I would still be cautious of using the optical sensor in the cas for the home trigger, as based on some r&d the optical sensor signal seem to to be a problem.
