I have got a r32 gtst with a r33 intercooler/fuel pump. Got a r32 Power FC. Once the engine goes in the car i will sell the r32 gtst power fc & buy a r33 power fc. I also got a Os Giken twin plate clutch (still using the r32 gearbox untill it blows) 550cc injectors. So ECU & hopefully the fuel department is taken care of.

ok looks like im getting forgies then! you know how much they are?.. the amount of power im trying to get should i just highflow the turbo, can it reach that power target?

Hi everyone, I have just purchased a rb25det for bargin of a price, only slight problem is the engine is damage. Ive been told that 2 pistons are damaged, which isnt confirmed, im hoping the ringlands are damaged instead of the pistons. Been reading on the forums that alot of RB25det have problems with ringlands being damage due to high boost. I know that the engine was running pretty high boost with factory cooler. My plans for the engine is to take the engine apart find out exactly what is damaged, if pistons are blown, should i invest in forged pistons or should i just find a new factory pistons? I also plan to port the heads, and cams. thats all for engine work. The turbo charged of choice is HKS or Garrett GT3037 with an external wastegate & a new manifold, and maybe get a trust plenum to tidy up the intercooler pipe work. I plan for the car to be an everyday car. Im only wanting to hit 250-260rwkw. Is what im doin overkill?....any advice would be greatfull. Thanks, Joe.
