Have you considered asking the seller to drive the car to the Dickson pits for an inspection to see if it will pass before purchasing? I know it will be a hassle but for Sydney sellers might be worthwhile giving it a go so that you purchase knowing for sure. Might be an idea to look into an adm s15 instead as pretty much most things will be parted out that was different probably with the exception of rear window wiper and the digital climate control unit. Just a thought to save you more hassle than required.

When I took my GTR into Dickson the only thing they picked me up for was a leaking cv boot which I would have repaired anyways. They give you 10 days not 30 days to rectify otherwise it will warrant another full inspection. Child restraints are a must. In case you need I actually have my stock bov and piping from my previous s15 so if you end up picking one up that has a bov venting to atmosphere then let me know so it will save you the hassle of sourcing another. Will definitely need to take it to Dickson and the rwc's here in act from other mechanics are pretty straight as opposed to NSW where virtually any mechanic will sign off on your car. Thanks guys, will most likely be sticking with the twins. I know single is the way to go but won't be chasing huge power, probably looking to settle around 300-350 awkw. Plus want to get the stock turbos outta there soonish as I know it's a ticking time bomb but funds limited due to building new house plus new baby. Keen to hear your thoughts between -9, -7, -5 or N1's.
