  1. I have seen some posts of people finding the Supaspark coilpacks rubber boots becoming brittle after only a few months in a hot engine bay. Mustn't be using good silicone??? Splitfires are by far the better option in my opinion. I have a set sitting in my garage that continued to work even through a catastrophic engine failure due to water loss. They are melted onto the housings and still worked!!
  2. I am in!!! Not sure about Lisa yet, but I will be there!!!
  3. And Bryn... we need to talk via PM...
  4. I was at that Go Kart night in the wet Col... Was funny watching Benji, Marc and Karen get in her car soaked to the skin... The boys stripped down to their undies...
  5. I would like one for a R33 GTS-T S2 no powdercoat please. Postcode 4300 Dave Rhinorebel
  6. I think Mick did very well handling the power he has in his GTR. If he had that amount of power in a two wheel drive he would be in the gravel a whole lot more!!! And I won't be doing much other than cooking the BBQ for a while... need to run the car in for say...... 10 months...that is, once I get it back...
  7. I think Col was talking about the BBQ Brekkie for meeting new members... Please see the Events Section for that!!!
  8. I just wish it would hurry up and be finished...
  9. I did a quick count of Jaqules list and there are at least 18 people on there that don't even own Skylines let have one that runs!!!
  10. I'm heading over to Signature Geoff... check on the progress of my baby... missing her heaps...
  11. two posts in 5 hours... this place is dead...
  12. The only reason I am doing this at all is because I got a great deal on the Plenum and Throttle bodies. If they had been more expensive I would have just got an aftermarket Rb25 plenum and done it that way. Andy, my turbo is a teeny-tiny GT28/71
  13. Shane, I am not soft.... just don't want my car off the road for months ever again. But you know all about that, what has it been??? 18 months???
  14. The single throttle body feeding from the front has been known to starve the rear cylinders and the response is also a factor. Plus I got a 26 plenum and throttle bodies very cheap and wanted to see if it could be done. I am undertaking a full-on rebuild and wanted to try a few things. As I said, I should have it on the dyno by the middle of next week and on the road by the weekend hopefully.
  15. Well, seeing as how I am the guinea pig for this adaptor plate, I think it is a very good piece of workmanship and considering all the relevant factors, fairly cheap. I looked for the Blitz version and all the tiny bits of available info on it and it didn't impress me and wasn't available. The design and manufacture of the one I am getting was brilliant and a combined effort of a couple of people, one of which is selling the end product. We should have results within a week and I will be more than forthcoming with the results. Have a look at the pictures and don't be too quick to judge.
  16. I think that if you guys give enough notice and pick a place with good variety of food (Noel only eats steak...) you could get a few of us Brisbanites to come down too. I know I want to take my 'line for a spin once I get it back.
  17. I might tag along too. Hi Anna!!
  18. Yeah Geoff, drive the boy!!! He will even pay you!!!
  19. How about you PM me his details... I will see where he is spending his "time", make a phone call and see that he gets the attention he deserves??? Nothing simpler... And he will be lucky to do 12 months "inside" And a place is called a "goal", a person goes to jail, even here in Australia. The correct term is now "Correctional Centre" i.e. You are going to Brisbane Goal where you will spend 10 months in jail.
  20. www.erd.com.au (Elite Racing Developments) here in Brisbane so you can pick up and save on postage. Dan is the man, local and a great mechanic also.
  21. Yep, I want one for a R33 GTS-T Series 2. Silver preferable. In Brisbane, so is that $105???
  22. I have the Haltech and it is brilliant. More of everything the PFC has but no hand controller. Which isn't a bad thing as some of the people I know with a hand controller change their tune and damage their car.
  23. Very interested but how much to post it to Brisbane??
  24. Well Foamer, I am also within the criminal justice system on a daily basis. Have been for over 19 years. And I think that about 3% of the people within said system deserve any tears from the likes of you. Your differentiation between these drug-f@#ked idiots and sex offenders is ridiculous. If you hug them and kiss them they will be all better... until their next hit, then they will degenerate into the knife-wielding scum they died as. Geoff got it right when he said, "you reap what you sow" Bloody do-gooders, you make my job that much harder. You make me sick with your holier than thou attitudes and your 10 minutes of life skills and University that make you believe you are always right. Here endeth the rant!
  25. Now this is impressive!!! http://www.filecabi.net/video/AA-12_shotgun.html
