  1. really??? I thought United was meant to be pretty good.... how much would it vary by? So what you are saying is although e-flex may change between winter and summer, once it changes it stays the same until the season changes again..?
  2. yeah well thats what I was thinking... just use a 200L drum, are you using one of those blue poly ones? I have read that they are no good for ethanol? I was thinking if thats the case I may just buy a drum of proper race E85 and then just keep reusing the drum with the regular pump E85, I priced one up and it was $650 delivered for the stuff they use in the V8 supercars apparantly.
  3. Ok so the closest servo to me with ethanol is a caltex and I dont really like the idea of eflex and its varying ethanol content. About 20 mins away is proper E85, which has got me thinking I might just get a couple drums and do a mission up there every so often and fill them up. I just thought Ide see if anyone else is doing this and what kind of setup you have got and how you go about doing it. Im guessing it has to be sealed up really good to prevent water absorbtion, anything else?
  4. bit confuzled but thanks mate sounds like they will fit...
  5. Hey guys, So I bought some 60mm gauges and I need some cups for them, I did a bit of searching and a few websites list the 2 5/8 autometer cups as also 60mm... Problem is that 2 5/8 is actually a few mm bigger than 60mm so I'm wondering if they will fit. Anyone ever tried this?
  6. Mine must have had a blockage or something...I was overheating running standard boost and I was only ever on the track for 4 mins at a time
  7. guess Ill give the ASI a go, it looks like everything is in the right place.... hopefully its not a case of third time lucky....
  8. and where do you get a koyo for $500? O/S?
  9. yeah my car was overheating last time I was out on the track, thats why im upgrading..surely a thick aftermarket one is going to be better than the skinny ass factory one.
  10. That ASI one looks alright, is it a triple core or just one big core? Has anyone got any pics of the Racepace item?
  11. Im thinking this looks pretty nice..... http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/JDM-Koyo-Aluminum-Racing-Radiator-NISSAN-R33-GTST-/370432642672?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item563f818e70
  12. I saw that one for $400 on ebay, but its got 4 days left and I need something ASAP. I dont want go too crazy with it but I want to get something decent.... I was thinking around $600-700 It has to be available locally as well..
  13. So I cheaped out and bought a crappy chinese radiator, went to the effort of resizing the thread for the bottom temp sensor then realised that it was just going to be too much of a mission to fit this thing. The shop I bought it from sells these as a R33 GTST radiator, but the only thing that was right with it was that the inlet and outlet were both on the right side. The top mounts were way off, temp sensor the wrong thread and the wrong size, overall radiator size slightly smaller so the shroud didnt fit..... Anyway I have decided to sell it and get a decent one.... So far ive got the Blitz from just jap or a PWR or a Koyo.... the blitz is about $100 cheaper than the other two.... What should I go for, or is there anything else worth while? ohh and anyone wants a cheap aluminium radiator.....$100
  14. Still got the diff, atm the centre is out of the housing, $150 and its yours Photos of some of the gear...
  15. bump, also got a GTST AFM.... send me an offer for any of this stuff, its gotta go.
  16. Just installing my new intake manifold and I came across this and have no idea what it is and where the line should be connected to... The module was on a bracket, but the line was just dangling there... Anyone know?
  17. yeah ive never understood that rule..... surely you would have more grip and more control from a proper set of tires than cheese cutters....
  18. actually, I just bought a power FC, so I will have a standard turbo ECU as well... Not sure how that would work with high compression though.
