  1. You mean it increases linearly, not you have a flat duty cycle ? Is yours IWG ?
  2. Yeah been a bit of an ongoing stuff around. FR shipped the wrong high booster cannister for TS frame. So then got a turbosmart dual port locally. It wouldn't hold boost. So changed EBC to one which can have different duties at different rpm but apparently made no difference on the dyno. Pretty much I don't think tuner likes the turbo .

  7. Stock sr20 260 procams. nistune E85, blow through Z32. Was running hks evcs switched avc-r for boost control by rpm as recommend by tuner. Fullrace top mount TS 7163 and dump. I think it's either a leak or wastegate setup so need to find dyno for hire or somewhere a bit more receptive to testing / debugging. There's a bit of info over at NRR and on NS in the efr threads.
  8. SR20, E85. Boost just dropping off like mad. I need to go through the setup a bit better as current tuner doesn't seem interested in trying to find the issue and is blaming the turbo and being IWG. Boost control is by rpm on avc-r with 4 port mac valve dual port turbosmart actuator. Awesome turbo even with the boost dropping. Just pulls like mad.

  10. Tom is yours a T4 TS IWG ? Did you run the stock actuator and or have any issues with boost control ?

  13. The P11 cams although not super turbo friendly are still pretty decent for making power. On the high lobe they are a 264/268 with approc 10.7mm lift. He's running a VE head, not a standard red/black top head.
  14. Be interesting to hear Full Race - Geoffs thoughts as I would have expected more power for the setup.

  18. Mate, i spoke to wascc today and the poor lady claimed she was new and had to get another lady to help her. She reiterated exactly what you said in your previous post. Just seems a bit disorganised !
  19. It's almost a bit conflicting that info. Wouldn't the serious guys be out racing in the logbooked time frame and the street cars be out in their 20min slot. So the serious competitors wouldnt be out with the street cars ?

  22. Cheers guys. The question is do i need to change the sensor, in other words, are they different ? The ECU is the R32 ecu so it runs fine. I read on there that the RB25 Neo has the same sensor as the RB26 so that's why I am asking. The old motor was sold off long ago unfortunately so we can't check without getting a new sensor. Thanks.
  23. Hi all, We swapped an R32 RB26 into a R34 GT-Four (RB25DE NEO) and are having some temperature issues. It currently has the stock instrument cluster and the coolant temp sender on the engine is a yellow sender. Should this be swapped to a blue sensor ? It seems to run well (ecu sender correct ?) But the gauge reads quite high. Thanks,
