  1. Just had Jim berry rebuild my existing clutch for $850 to suit my current approx 320rwkw build. Used my existing preasue plate but rebuilt and upped the clamping presure from 2200lbs to 3400lbs, 5 puk carbotic clutch plate made from an exedy nissan patrol center. Cost also incuded machining my standard fly wheel. This guy is awesome he explains everything to you and will find out exactly what you want.
  2. I'd be interested in a replacement for the standard rb25 fuel rail (r33)

  4. i did post this in the forced performance section but got no replys I have just spoken with nissan regarding a new oil pump to suit my series 1 rb25det. The two options that they gave me were for either a "standard pump" or an "rb26 pump" part no's and prices 150105L800 - $488 1501024U01 - $536 I am guessing that rb26 option is what we know as the n1 pump. Can anyone confirm this via the part numbers? Also I didn't think that the standard pump was going to be so close in price to the N1. From some of SK's posts he was talking about a difference of a few hundred $$$, anyone know where to get the standard pump cheaper? leigh.

  6. $150us ($200au) got a set a couple of weeks ago from this ebay shop. Bolts with nuts. also for rb26
  7. Any one got more up to date info on the part number for the series 1 rb25 water pump. 21010-21u26 seems to be the one, i am just concerned about an apparent issue with one bolt being offset After searching no one seems to know for sure, it fits for some and not others.
  8. A single 3037s is hardcore enough for me.
  9. its just a single 3037, where'd you get idea that there were two? Block is getting o-ringed, what's wrong with the copper gaskets?
  10. Engine is at the Machine shop now. Head is getting ported, tomei springs and cams block getting bored, honed and o-ringed. Everything is to be balanced (standard crank, Argo Rods, Venolia pistons), using ARP Head stud kit and standard thickness copper head gasket and ACL Bearings.
  11. Hi octane racing do forged rebuild kits for the rb25 at a reasonable price.
  12. Ok i know this has been talked about a lot already and had been established that ACL sr20 rods bearings were the ones to use with RB30 mains. I have just looked at the race series product listing from acl.com.au and it now shows a listing for the rb25. Rod bearing have the same part number as the sr20 ones but with the mains bearings they list different part numbers for the RB30 and RB25. Any Idea's Also both sets for the rb25 are the same as what they list for the rb26, just larger oil clearance?
  13. Any one know the differences in size between the standard rb25 head bolts and the ARP rb26 head studs. My head and block are at the machine shop at the moment and they just want to make sure there is going to be a big enough difference in size to re tap the block properley. leigh.
  14. some pics of my rb25 build and parts http://leighmunro.com/index.php?name=coppe...mbnails&album=7

  17. I am about to drop my rb25 head of for a slight port and general titdy up as well as getting my tomei springs and cams fitted. What i just thought about though is if i was going to be using an ARP rb26 head stud kit what mods will need to be made to the head. leigh.
  18. The xr6t is modified, 320rwkw. It is also a little loulder than standard but i still thought the situation was a little wierd
  19. yeah it'd be like a 3 hour round trip Bridgeman downs - loganholme - beaudesert and back. Plus whatever other time he spent looking for his details. The cop also mentioned he was not usually involved in traffic fines and had to go pick up a fine book just for this occasion.
  20. My old man was up having breakfast on sunday at my uncles on the north side of brisbane (bridgeman downs) and took his young nephew for a run up the road in his XR6t, letting the blowoff valve off a few times. Monday he's at work and his mobile rings and its some police officer looking for him, he's driven down to our place (loganholme) looking for him. Dad expains he's at work and cop get his details. cop then drives out to the work site where he is working, in beaudesert!, and issues him a fine for exessive noise. Only $200 and no points. Turns out the cop was on his day of on the sunday and sitting at home had seen my old man go up the road and back and gotten his rego then tracked him down the next day!
  21. There is a RB25 around here, built by hardcore racing that is running 795hp at the wheels using argo rods.
  22. i just purchased a set for my rb25 buildup. places i looked to get them were modyourcar.com - crower $2100 hi octane racing - REV $1700 crower.com - crower $1800 (delivered from usa) argo (argorace.com.au) - $2100 ended up getting a set of the argo's simply because was unsure of the REV Branded ones and not to sure of what import duty may be involved with getting the crower ones direct from crower in the US. Really happy with the ARGOs though look awesome and soposed to be good for up to 200hp per cylinder. oh also looked into PAR rods.
