Auto To Man Convert?....how About Man To Auto?
superspit replied to superspit's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
no...it's a Hyundai Excel......lol!! I'll keep taking all thoughts on this concept, good or bad!!!!!!....and really appreciate yours Gfunk. -
Out of curiosity, I pulled the hood to look at the radiator cooling assy....(any excuse will do, it's new!) Fark me!...what do I find?..........2 electric fans....no clutch fan! ummm...how embarrassing. This is odd!
-
yeah...I knew that you knew that I knew that too! ...er....yeah! Though with the current exchange rate, Bionic Man is prolly 7 and a half buh..and the door motor about 6 mill. Good advice mate.
-
Hi BZKR! Man.....I know that the V35 fans tend to work puurty hard, even in mild weather conditions...moreso than any other car that I've noticed. 1100 hunjy?...geeeesh!..that figure seems to have been extracted from the ass of a Nigerian stock broker. I have not proceeded, as my cooling system still appears to be functioning well..(other than it constantly coming on!..not a big bother though.) Can't say the same about my 6M gearbox! (still!)....I shoulda gone the 5 speed Semi-Auto....they're much classier, I reckon. Stay On Target!...soz. I'd like us to start a tab on this very same fault......let's find out wtf is going on here, and maybe get a few more recco's.(?)

For all we know Chris, this guy could be the 6 million dollar man!! (Bionic.....for the younger folk.. ) Hope you're well buddy.... Bump!

The Excitement And Quickness Of A New Car
superspit replied to 3LGODZILA's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
meh.....I reckon it's also got to do with the way you drive! Drive like a knucker-head all day, everyday, and things just become normalised. Have a 'safe-squirt' every now and again, and your fast car will always feel fast. Respect public roads! -
Anyone Used E5/e10 Petrol Blends In Their V35?
superspit replied to aklnz300gt's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
hi... Ethanol Blend? While the motor itself could run safe and well on E blend, I think that sometimes it's the little things, like rubber hoses, filter-media, hose clamps, pumps, nozzles etc etc... that simply can't take the Ethanol. Take the risk?...for maybe a few less cents? It's a compromise, I won't use it. Cheers. -
My V Getting It's F & R Bumpers Done...finally!
superspit replied to superspit's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Hi Robbo... I've thought about it in the past, and again when I see them out on the road...... But don't you think they prolly cause more damage (to paint) than protection? I figure that when my car bumpers start to look a little trashy, I'll get the paint ....just my way of thinking....not necessarily the best! Thanks for the compliments man, rock-on! -
Has Your V Been Mistaken As Something Else?
superspit replied to rs73's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
no no no no....it has nothing to do with a Maxima as such..(don't get all touchy!..lol! ) .....it's that they wrongly but adamantly believe it...... I think it's just a stir anyway! -
Tyre Noise is a very under rated conversation piece....unfortunately. Good on you for mentioning this.

Pics taken tonite.....for your perusal!..lol! I think a fresh bumper speak volumes for itself. It really has changed the look of the car, and has made me very happy. NOW WATCH SOME MOTHERFARKER IN A COMMODORE f**k IT ALL UP!.....lol!! -

superspit replied to superspit's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Hey Niz......Thanx buddy... sorry to hear about yo shit bro...hope it all works out nice..I'm sure it will! good question....my little old Silvia got the same deal, some years back! I think I have learnt my lesson...remove/disconnect the battery prior to this type of basic work!..they just push the car around the workshop anyway!.(No crash-test-dummy Driving by the staff allowed!)..lol! I think they just silenced the alarm (when it went off) with the small auxiliary key, but didn't realise that the alarm actually keeps going....either that or they watched DVD porn in the car all nite. Either way..my new battery is faaarked..completely (dead shorted!)....got a replacement one tonite, under warranty....the panel beater said he'd get me a new one if that didn't work out. I really believe, that in life.....SOMEONE ELSE IS ALWAYS GOING TO f**k IT UP FOR YOU!...LOL! I'll post up the pics of it finished.....well almost anyway...I get her tmrw!..(I told the panel Beater that I will install the new-new battery myself, and to have that 10 mm spanner ready for me!)...he said "cool cool". Oh yeah....can I just say......... V35 front and rear bumpers take up a huge amount of 'real-estate' on our vehicles.....unless they're clean and un-scratched the whole car seems to come down a grade or two.....but that's just my own thoughts! -

Hi 180.. yeah..I guess the old pics do it some justice..for once!..lol! They were actually quite shabby...and in the sunlight they showed different shades!...quite embarrassing! (I know I know!) Japs have poor panel beaters..or they appear to be all based on press packs! I like the fact that the guy who sold me the car said it was 'crash free'...and I've seen that for myself now....! -
tell us more?....who was she?
-
Hey guys...how did this go lastnite?......was it fun?
-
Just some pics of my car having it's front and rear bumpers repaired and painted...without the use of a pressure pack this time!..lol! Don't Jap's have any panel shops over there; they seem to do disgusting repairs!!...(from my current and past experiences). Hopefully pick her up today, with the front number plate re-mounted, so it looks nicer. The guys at Ultra-Fine (Moorabbin) seem to be doing a fine job, as always. But they killed my brand new battery.....the 'magic-eye' is saying 'Don't Re-charge'....!..(why did I mention that?) Anyways...have a great day people.....stay away from f**kwits, they'll only ruin it for you. (not reffering to these guys!) Cheers!

Question For Skyline V35 Track Owners
superspit replied to rs73's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
well....I hope I haven't cursed you then! I have 'torn' 2 tyres over my driving life, and I'm glad I've had a spare, being where I was when it (they) happened. I just don't see the point in driving around without a proper 'functional and Road Worthy' spare.....I'm sure it's illegal too! A Lantra at 190?...I'm sure that felt like a Luna-Park ride? -
Question For Skyline V35 Track Owners
superspit replied to rs73's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Guys...I hear you, and tend to agree with you on the 'can-o-tyre' stuff. But, in my experience, you can't fix a 'slice' in your tyre with the can. I think it's beneficial only if you carry it with you, along with your spare wheel!!.....nothing can replace a spare wheel. But hey!!...that's just me! -

well I am very sorry...I certainly didn't mean to offend you, or anyone else for that matter! If you check my history, I think you'd find that I am, at least, a reasonable contributor.......most of the f**king time anyway!..lol! -

Differences Between Vq Motors?
superspit replied to Paris Hilton's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
I thought they were the same motors???...(based on Renault and Nissan 2003 merge???) Not sure about a direct install though into the Laguna. I'd like to know too, out of curiosity. -

Question For Skyline V35 Track Owners
superspit replied to rs73's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
It's a hassle, yes.. But unless you plan on doing a 'Le Mans' type run with a spare tyre attached, then no problem. Don't worry about steering balance!...you'd just get to a tyre shop asap!!!..(wouldn't you?)
