-
geeesh...I wonder what caused all those tyres to malfunction? oh..btw...off topic for a sec......is it tires or tyres?
-
mmmm....fair enough...though I'd like to see "a new GT/F6/R8/GTS etc " with 400,000 kays on the clock....at any temperature, let alone a Skyline.
-
that's ok...I had to Google 'Wikipedia'.
-
I wonder if the words "Vapour-Lock" still exist.......? mmmm....well, I guess they do!! Well, what would I know...heck, I just drive a POS Skyline.......(according to many 'old school' V8 Holden and Ford owners).

Show Me Your Number Plate Bracket Mod

Hi Geoff...a pic of the 'anti-MF razor blades'?......or the one of the installion, as already pictured above...? Cheers buddy! -
noooooooo potential???????????? Hope you're right bro!!

ok...SOG? (short of gas)....how could you tell that you a/c is n/s because of a lack of gas?...just curious. (please don't tell me that you pressed the low pressure line fill valve, and heard nothing???..lol!) Sealed, critical charge devices should never go sog, and the chances of you finding a refridge mechanic that will simply "top her up" is almost impossible, as it's not legal. What you need is a complete service that incorporates a 'leak check'. There could also be other issues that are stopping your a/c from operating.... Either way, a service is worth every cent, especially with what's coming up in the next few days!!! As far as where to go?......I'm sure there will be members here that can recco some honest joint up your way. Let us know how you get on.

so...that's one Holden...one Ford. edit: and potentially one Skline, as above.

ooohhhhhhh.....yeah!... I love these farkin things!!! I tried finding one (to purchase) recently, to fix up...(not a totally faaaarked one).....easier said than done. I remember stripping down/rebuilding these 1200 motors some 20 years ago.....god it was fun! Any more pics fellas?

so...how are all your cars doing in this heat? Seen any Holden's or Ford's on the side of the road on the way home?

Hi.... As I sat in the back seat of my 350GT, watching some por....er....some docos...a few weeks ago, I was amazed at what I saw around me....SRS labeling all around me...(not to mention those cool push in/out clothes hangers!...never noticed those before!) I'd like to know more about our 35's active/SRS devices, and what would actually happen if we were involved in a collision with a wall, at say, 50-60km/h....(or use your own experiences)....how many bags have we actually got onboard? What/how does our Active Headrest system do/work?..in practical terms.....and maybe even include your own unfortunate experiences. Please do include, if you can, how the pre-tensioner system works in with all this....maybe explained on some sort of expanded timeline?....(so dicks like me can understand). I know this could get quite technical and potentially a laborious task to answer, but I assure you, I'd really appreciate your thoughts and skill-sets on this topic.....especially from our 'V' community. Thanx ahead!... Cheers.

Ok..cool...I'll look into this method. But, as far as the rear is concerned, I didn't merely cut off the plate holder 'legs'...I took the whole POS off and directly mounted the plate to the bumper, utilising a 10mm spacer kit for the number plate protectors. That plastic is quite thick, and holds the screws very well. (as far as some MF taking the plate, I've left a little surpise for them, should they try to take them)....I learnt this from that 'sect', a while back...(remember them?)...lol! I'm thinking that I will do the same fo the front (with a nut a 'blind bolt')...while it's at the panel shop. I want the plate to be 'flush', looks neater. Cheers. -

Show Me Your Number Plate Bracket Mod
superspit replied to Tokyo Geoff's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Yeah!...agreed! I tried to figure something out for my front...(unsuccessfully)..... I'm getting both front and rear bumpers resprayed next week, might talk to the painter, see if he can't modify something prior to paint. I am pretty happy with what I did to the rear...by way of getting rid of the farken shit piece of metal contraption number plate holder!....I supplied a pic (I know we're talkin' fronts....just thought I'd jump in!) I'll let you know what I come up with for the front....(if you'd like?) Cheers! -
