Knowing the GOR I was expecting nothing less than shit driving but it's something I've always wanted to do. I'll have to spend some time on other quieter roads as well.

Event: Happy Laps - Queensland Raceway Description: A chance to get out on track for a fun cruise and have some om nom noms! Bit of spirited driving is allowed but it is still an event on a race track so a few rules need to be followed (see below). Also if you have not done QR before this is your ticket in to Lakeside. Location: Queensland Raceway MAP HERE. Date: Saturday the 28th of November. Time: 7:00 AM Arrival Cost: $35 for members and guests of members riding with a member $50 for non members Please note that this is a per person cost, any passengers etc are required to pay as well. Requirements: The overtaking car is responsible for completing the overtaking move safely. Overtaking is only permitted on straights, unless clearly waved passed by the car in front. Overtaking move must be completed well before the end of the straight, and the car being overtaken must be given plenty of room. Cars should not be more than 2 abreast at any point on the track. Be aware of cars around you, in front and behind (and beside when being overtaken). Do not assume that the car in front of you knows you are there. QR RULES There is to be no racing. Any car that goes off the track will be pulled off. There is not to be more than 1 sec of tyre smoke. There are to be no helmets. Vehicles must have current registration and number plates are not to be obscured in anyway. No roll-cages, even if mod plated.
