  1. I heard they'll have rotating full tankers on Arrowsmith Stage for rolling refuels of the guys running E85.
  2. Might need to check the undies after the form at Hollywoods last EC adventure?
  3. +1 but tough call for Early Modern- I like Ayresie and Jeff! Equal first please?
  4. Now that sucks Ben- I'm sure we can help with some sorrow drowning. Hope all works out.
  5. went for a quick spin in the Just Jap ATTKD Select R SP today (quick being the operative word!) now definitely can't wait for targa! so are you blokes up for the threatened catch up? maybe a drink saturday night in launceston before it gets too busy? worst case we can have a few lemonades at the welcome party
  6. Nine more sleeps and I'm there! ps: nice to keep reliving those potato farming adventures boys
  7. all i can say is it's probably a good thing my memories from later that night are a little hazy
  8. maybe you just left too early- after some beauty sleep perhaps Snow White? i seem to recall some awesome fun and good laughs at the Jailhouse, after Benny, Timmy and Russ finally finished their dodgy brothers repairs on the hire cars.
  9. I'd tell you Ben, but then I'd have to kill you Lucky Stu came good with the info Yep Dan, staying at Penny Royale again - is that where you are? We should organise an SAU catch up, everyone's schedules permitting?
  10. Good to see you're in Timmy, even if it's in one of those Mazda things And good to see the smack down talk has started, albeit a little late. I'm back in with the llama in the new & improved ATTKD Select SP- Go Car 803! Should be an interesting Targa, some of my local mates are already predicting it will be wet?

    2010 F1 Season

Still waiting for the ringing in my ears to stop... my spot coming onto the straight was awesome - forgetting ear plugs was not! the GT racing was great though a shame to see races 2 & 3 red flagged. +1 on the WTF was Bowe thinking comment- unlike most of us, he obviously doesn't seem to care so much where he parks a borrowed car! as much as it pains me to say it, Button deserved the win. making the choice to switch tyres when he did was a big & ballsy call given the weather seemed to change every 5 minutes (shower, to drizzle, to dry and back again). not sure how close it looked on tv but he really drove away with it.
  12. Before I forget.... came across the best.rallystory.ever. recently... How A $500 Craigslist Car Beat $400K Rally Racers Proves there's yet hope for all of us backyard races Trying to choose my favourite quote: Parked the crapcan with Loeb, Hirvonen, the whole crew. I can only imagine what the other drivers where thinking when they strapped in: "WTF? I wasn't even born when that model came out." OR... Got there too late to do reconnaissance and had to mooch stage notes from the Peruvian rally champion. Dude is cool but notes are in Spanish or something. So e's are rights and d's are lefts? OR I once asked Bill why he insisted on going through every spectator section crossed up and with the engine banging off the limiter. "Dude," he said, "I don't care if it costs me a couple of tenths. It makes the fans go nuts."
  13. I believe the driver looking for a nav in this instance may be new to rally. You do have to worry when it's a driver who's been around for a while though
  14. hai hey i have someone looking for a nav for targa I know there's a few good sorts on here PM me if you are one of them and interested in more info?
  15. Congrats to Dan and Adam- brilliant result! How did you go Liam? Times looked good. Sounds like there will be a few *special spec* cars turning up to targa this year
  16. Hope everyone is having some fun! Can't seem to link to results off the MM website?
  17. Good luck Liam! Hope you have a bit of fun and make some good times
  18. I'm not really close to which dog food engine has done what but I'm guessing Tony is probably not too upset because he has got a lot of life out of his 35 motors? Both the Quinns don't hold back when it comes to driving hard, and given there's still alot to learn on the 35s they're probably laughing they've got this far without too many dramas!
  19. and then there was one.... Definitely not a good rally for the 35s: 11:07am - Leemhus and Ryan in their Nissan GTR R35 off road during Special Stage 14. At tracking point. Both ok. 11:10am - Leemhus and Ryan a long way off road and may need crane to retrieve vehicle. Tony is the last man standing in the GTRs. And Jimmy out due to issues with steering rack
  20. ummmm but it's still a 2-door taxi???
  21. haha forest elbow has a forest on it!
  22. now the march would be a bit of fun! long story short- I was entered with someone back in october wires got crossed apparently and they thought i was unavailable and organised someone else shame because we scored a decent result at rally tas last year (top 5) and it would have been good to have another crack at it even worse because i had someone else ask if i was available a while back and i ofcourse said no because i thought i had the seat organised! ah well, shite happens as they say
  23. corner cutters make baby jesus cry aside from peeing off the councils, they make things dangerous for people following them through some corners are hard enough to get through without having to deal with unexpected but avoidable crap all over the road anyone know of anyone looking for a nav for rally tas btw? turns out im now available
  24. FARK I LOVE RALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The view from my seat on Longley @ TWP... Watch for the *OH FARK* moment 1.40 in
