  1. I use a BNR34 fuel pump in mine with no issues.
  2. Just wondering as said earlier in this thread the NEO TPS has 6 wires and only three are for TPS what are the other 3 for?
  3. A small update If I disconnect the TPS harness under the hood the MAF reads as normal but that really doesn't help at all.

  5. Thanks for the info I will try that later. I do know that I can completely have the MAF disconnected and the same voltage phenomenon occurs. However if the MAF is not plugged in the car won't start and run its a strange scene to be sure. It seems the MAF is still giving a reading but it is also reading from the TPS as well hence the weird voltage fun. Since I have wired the MAF directly into the PFC with my own wire that leads me to believe that the PFC is the culprit however I will do some further troubleshooting with your advice such as unplugging TPS etc. I will keep you posted on what I find.
  6. So thanks to some info above I have uploaded a video of the PFC switch/test screen that shows the voltage issue in detail. I have a couple more things to check but I am starting to think that the PFC is the culprit as it is the only used part I installed in this car.   7. Yesterday I tried hard wiring the MAF into the Power FC I had the same result that was with me running all new wires straight from the PFC to the MAF. I don't have another Power FC and its a 1000$ to get another one in there. But if I must buy one then that is the answer. The traction control unit has been disabled. and the valve removed. so it should not be an issue.

  12. One other comment I would like to make is that my car is an AT/MT conversion. I am well aware that the AT harness has several pins that are not used by the MT or PFC ECU. But as far as I can tell from the wiring diagrams none of the pins in question are different between the AT and MT harness.
  13. I ran new wires from the MAF directly in to the ECU ports for AIR signal and Signal ground. Same result. So it is not the wiring harness. Does anyone else have a Power-FC in a ER34 that can try this out. Turn the car to on but not engine running put the PFC into monitor mode for AFM and watch the voltage whilst pushing the gas pedal. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for the replies.
  14. Hello, Back in November I took my car to the tuner. I am running a power-FC on a 1998 r34 GT-T RB25DET NEO 550 injectors GT-RS turbine poncams Z32 MAF The car came back but has had issues running very rich (10.0) when cold to 50 Celcius Once warmed up around 80C the car runs fine (idle 14.7) except that when you punch the gas it studders then engages. I took the car back to the tuner and he says that it is having an issue he has never seen before. On the data logger when you push the throttle there is a momentary drop in AFM voltage then it raises as it should. The MAF is brand new and has been tested as fine in another vehicle. All of the other parts are also brand new. Also the engine was just rebuilt. I went to pick up the car today from the tuner again because he can't seem to figure out the problem. He left me a note that said that he had noticed something. If the car is not turned on and you depress the peddle the AFM voltage and the throttle voltage rise together and at exactly the same value. It seems there may be a crossed wire somewhere or maybe it is supposed to be like that. He said to check the harness. I was wondering if anyone else has heard of a issue like this before. After the initial pause the engine runs fine. It is just the initial push that has problems. Thanks.

I appreciate your info, I have heard conflicting information on the size of the factory injectors and their latencies as well with what you just said that would put these ijectors as having near the same latency as the fatory ones which follows with them being drop ins as advertised. One other thing, Does anyone have the real info of the stock Rb25DET NEO injectors, as looking on google I have seen many dieeferent numbers from 330-380 With 380cc at .6ms appearing most often, Thanks
  16. FYI Paul those new Power-FC's that Nenguns is selling have a 2+ month wait on them. I went through hell trying to get one through them in a resonable time and ended up cancelling my order and getting one used. They do have decent customer service though.

  18. Greetings, I need a little help with my Power FC. I got a Power FC for my R34 GT-T and purchased 550cc drop injectors for it. This is all part of a build I am doing and I want the car to be able to run so that it can be driven to the tuner. I understand that you need to adjust the injector setting on the Power FC to account for the difference in stock injector size. Stock is 330cc correct? so 330/550 = 60% but you also need the latency information. The did not come with the injectors and when I asked the seller I received this information: Dead Times Volts 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 ms 1.144 1.033 0.923 0.833 0.744 0.672 0.600 0.528 0.456 0.384 0.312 So which one is the right one? I would appreciate any help. Thanks.
  19. Thanks a lot for bringing up this site man. I never heard of it before nad have been using strictly yahoo Auctions to buy things locally in Japan. I picked up the POWER-FC from them and saved a bundle of cash. It would have been twice as much had I ordered it on Yahoo or from a dealer. Cheers and good looking out.

  22. ER34's have a totally different type of plug on their harness compared to an R33.
  23. Thanks all for the info. I wouldn't go to Top Secret 1because its far away and 2 because tuning fees are insanly high here: The Power FC for the r34 is really expensive compared to those for earlier models or GT-R Skylines because of demand, not many R34 GT-T's were produced so the POWER-FC for them is pretty rare here. The HKS F-CON V Pro I can get the unit, harness, temp sensor, and pressure sensor all together for the same cost as the POWER-FC however the F-CON is required to go to a tuner to even get running because of the license required for the software. That is my main detractor for that. I was also looking at NISTUNE as a possiblity due to its low cost and user friendlyness.
  24. It was my understanding that stock head gaskets fail if they are exposed to higher boost and power levels, so a metal one is the best alternative. If this is wrong I would be happy to learn better.
