  1. Ummmmmmmmmm........................ LoL!. i don't think this is going to resume in the future right? should i just give up all hopes?
  2. Lolz i was in ONE of the 3-4 of the White R33 Gts25t that night with GTR32 rims up front and 300zx (z32) rims on the rear and the BIG white HKS sticker across the windscreen. you should of done the burnout, still helps on street rubber just no need to do a monster SMOKEY one. (cough) but seems to work for Moanie on her street rubber(cough) sub 2.0 60ft on 225 federals ey.
  3. Forged: was your car the Silver r34 gtt? 2.5-2.6 60ft is SHOCKING, How much power does the dyno say your car makes? 111mph is quite high What brand/size rubber you running on the rear? Did you try lowering the tyre pressure for the rear tyres and attempt to do a decent burnout to heat em up? Usually for someone with those 60fts, what you should of tried is just a normal take off (as you would do on the street) and i reckon you would of gotten better times, then trying to launch it at this rev or that rev because the tyres weren't up to the task. It happened with one of the guys in an r33 gtst he was trying this and that and his BEST run of the night was when he just drive it off the line as per normal as if he was on the street
  4. Brendan don't be a tightass OIL FILTER change every 3 oil changes?? come on man. no wonder you can't run 12's Oil Filters aren't that expensive get your act together. i always change my oil filter everytime i change my oil and thats usually 5000kms or less depending if i did circuit work or not.
  5. :sorcerer: HAPPY BIRTHDAY MONA!! :sorcerer: As you get older.... you will only get wiser.. and FASTER!!
  6. I think i'm over the whole car thing.. time to settle down and get myself a JEEP: 'Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT-8' http://www.webwombat.com.au/motoring/news_...erokee-srt8.htm http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Drive...rticleId=108449 http://www.caradvice.com.au/3234/2007-jeep...srt8-road-test/ Power: 313kW @ 6000rpm Torque: 569Nm @ 4800rpm 20†alloy wheels with Brembo brakes Priced at $85,990 "5.2 seconds to 60 mph, 13.5 seconds in the quarter-mile. That makes this a 4,800-pound SUV that easily smokes a new Mustang GT, Pontiac GTO and, its most direct competitor, the Chevy TrailBlazer SS. And, you may want to sit down for this if you're a Porschephile, it's even quicker than the $90,000 Porsche Cayenne Turbo (0-60 in 5.9, quarter in 14.3)." "Let’s put that into perspective. The 2.1-tonne 4WD will out-row a HSV GTS in a straight line run to 100km/h and will also beat one of its double-priced rivals – the Porsche Cayenne Turbo." This is being realistic can't wait to see these for sale on the second hand market
  7. You better off with 235 at the front and 255/265 at the rear, you'll struggle and have issues with 245 up front 225 is too small for 18inch rims this is for an R33 gts25t right?
  8. SOLD to me thanks Mark. Another set of GTR R32 rims hehehe YES!
  9. Victor your in luck, if you noticed Benm was mentioning earlier they will do ONE Friday night in september when i asked the guy.. but just ONE friday night drags so you better be up for it! haha
  10. You don't need the MAGICAL 250RWKW POWER to run a high 12 second pass, i've got around 220-225rwkw and ran 12.9 on 225/50/r16 Toyo T1R's @32psi tyre pressure GT-RS or HKS2535 or a GCG/Slide Highflow would be my choice You will also need: -Bigger Injectors -EBC Boost Controller or bleed valve -Remapped ECU /Powerfc or the like.
  11. Disappointing night for me.. hence why i didn't call/sms you 2rismo Track was cold and slippery i felt like a hovercraft when i was in 3rd/4th gear going down the track, i REALLY need to learn to do burnouts.. Benm warned me to smoke em up i ATTEMPTED too but as soon as i tried the car went sideways and my tyres were still cold <so hard to make the car stay still for burnouts - Moanie you gotta give me some BURNOUT lessons> Still managed a 12.913@114mph with a crappy 2.05x 60ft though VESPA: i Saw your car in the car park when i arrived and went into my staging lane, then you disappeared what happened did you something give way? Congrads on the New Pb Brendan i reckon a few more runs with 2rismo's launch technique<which i haven't perfected> and your in the 12's mate
  12. *Cough* FLAT 9? *COugh* 9 x 2 is more like it hhaha Nick you must be mistaken my car is only a STOCKER GTST Anyways should be fun let you guys know if can get beat Mona's time on the registry hehe all i need is <0.1 sec
  13. Weather is LOOKing very very good and its nice and FREEZING COLD hopefully crack a good time tonight, only another 1 1/2 hours before i can get off work and make my way through the peak hour traffic
  14. Option 1: Would mean labour costs plus rebuild if your intending to keep the RB20 and add forgies Option 2: Replace it with a second hand RB25DET or another RB20 if your tight on funds, make sure you get a leak down and compression test on them before purchase. i'll personally prefer a cheap RB25 and wack it in there.,
  15. Last night whilst i was on Parramatta Road heading towards Auburn direction at around 10ish spotted a YELLOW r32 GTSt and a Wine Red r33 gtst with hid's
  16. Have they got more Parallel imports 225/45/r16 r888's or 225/50/r16's?
  17. My third only hits 150km/h MAX at 7000rpm (r33 gtst 5pd) ... told you, your car is a monster brendan
  18. Brendan if your car is on fire from the rear end(boot area) how do you think you will access the fire extinguisher? Most of the hardcore guys are mounting them under the driver/passenger seat so pretty much under your legs you have to be able to reach it from the drivers side( cams requirement i thinks)
  19. Yeah FORGED listen to MONA she is a FAST chick with massive burn outs. R/T (reaction time) how long it takes you to react get off the line after the light has turned green doesn't affect your ending 1/4 mile time ET So say i race you, let you go first and i wait and get myself comfortable and 5-10seconds after you leave i take off and run my time you get your time blahblah and i still get my 12.5 it doesn't affect it. The timer starts when YOUR car starts moving.
  20. Beer Baron: Do you know anyone that has used the CHUBB Fire Extinguishers? they sell them at REPCO for around $30 i think. Otherwise: i wouldn't mind being in a group buy for BFI fire extinguishers 1kg i've seen them for around $45-$55 delivered off the net.
  21. Victor.. these will probably help you: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...t=0&start=0 http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=115536 I also got a Supercheapauto fire extinguisher but after some reading and founding out how unreliable they are, i went back to return it and going to buy a BFI Extinguisher.
  22. Nismo_God: Brendan you car is an animal it doesn't count as a stocker r33 gtst
  23. Brendan.. don't talk about wakefield.. EVERYTIME i go out there i'm getting SLOWER and SLOWER its pissing me off.. i think i'm just getting too old and scared of corners haha. OR i need new tyres.. Yes 13.1 with T1R's not nittos/mickey thompsons then still T1R's 12.9 with a 2.0x 60ft i have a feeling i'll might back in the 13 barrier on wednesdsay because i have my hard suspension on i dunno how it will go. anyways hope the weather holds up and see all the skylines there.
  24. LoLz Mona you know the longer you stay away the harder it is for you maintain your position YOU NEED TO GET BACK DOWN THERE GAL! i wanna see those MONSTER BURNOUTS! i still can't do em <sigh> Changed the front wheels back to normal(after trackday) last night Soo COLD then went to get petrol no v-power racing ffs! next time i'm getting it tuned for 98octane i'm so sick of paying 30c more for 100octane and having no supply available 95% of the time. Hopefully can get petrol in the car tonight otherwise i'll be out i HATE SHELL!
