Hey, The thing that looks like a protruding button is just a clip that holds it together im pretty sure. theres no card reader on it either The thing in the footwell corner is my crossover for the speakers.

Nah if im on tv or vtr1 and change out of P or N then a saftey screen comes up. Must be something to do with the central locking or keyless system

Hi thanks, yer white box number is 28595 0v005 . I google searched it and found alot of japanese writing, but used google translator and found that; The White box pictured is the Nissan Stagea keyless computer (translated) The little black box that has been wired in only has Japanese writing on it, so not sure what it is or does yet, but it looks to be aftermarket add-on.

Hi, looking in my dash as im going to swap my xanavi unit for the standard air con unit. I found some aftermarket wiring and traced it back to this. Anyone know what the white box is and what has been wired into it. -White box found under far left of dash, just to the left when the glove box is removed. -Black box found behind the xanavi headunit, with a few metres of blue & yellow cable taped up. (Not connected to anything). Just curious as to what this could be as it looks aftermarket and wonder what it does. or what it is meant to be able to do Thanks

So just to be clear, as im looking into swapping my xanavi system with the standard Climate Control and have a 2 DINs free for a Headunit. What is needed? -Climate Control unit with start of wiring loom/harness. -Dash facia to suit Do you need a new cradle that holds the units? Is the wiring colour matched or does it need to be wired from the diagram / pin layout? Is there a difference in standard Climate units as i've heard some have different colored plugs,i.e white and black.? Thanks.

Hi, just got a s2 stagea with the xanavi headunit too. When i went on the freeway (100km/h) i noticed my screen turned blank and stayed blank after a few min. I could use the aircon, turn on/off and and the other button on the climate light up. 2 min after slowing down from 100km/h the screen came back as normal. Not sure if this is of any relevance to your fault but it may be something to check, somehow.

OP is from Melbourne, and i dont think NRMA insure VIC. My friend has his 34 GTR insured for 50k with just cars. 1yr ago $1500pa, this year they tried to raise to $1900pa, but he got them to agree to $1600 p/a . I was so shocked when they quoted $2k p/a for $13000 agreed value on my stagea.

Will be taking out a new policy on friday for my 99 s2 stagea, most likey with RACV. I have only found RACV & Just Cars to insurue to so far. based on $13,000 agreed valued, and garaged in 3196 Just Cars $2096 p/a RACV $1080 p/a Just cars penalises me for a drink driving issue 2 1/2 years ago, racv dont.
