  1. Alright excuse me for sounding like a dumb sob; but I need to clarify this. S1's have the same engine as a R33, so an R33 front + split would work. Since S2's have an R34 engine, would a R33 front + split still work? Just a little confusing if a R33 front + dump pipe would fit.
  2. Wad that in regards to the BATMBL exhausts? And do you have an S1 or S2?
  3. Well any skyline down pipe should fit, and I was looking at this. Unfortunately it looks like don't have them for a WGNC34 anymore, just the 260RS'. So a little stuck right now.. So.... I've been looking around and found this shiny thing on ebay. I contacted the guy and he said he makes the parts for both S1 and S2's. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be many bolt on options at the moment..
  4. Alright so neither an R33 or R34 front+dump won't be a direct fit. Bugger. Looks like I'll buy a HKS combo from nengun
  5. Hey guys, l've been looking at this front + dump for a while now, but just want some confirmation before buying. BATMBL has been fabricating these exhausts and from what I can see he's been getting pretty positive feedback. The thread can be found here. Just wanting to know if anyone's ordered the R34 GTT front + dump (+ high flow cat) for their S2, and is it a direct bolt on? If anyone has any feedback or can tell me if the fitting for the S1 is the same as S2 are the same/different, please let me know. edit - ed the link.
  6. Wicked Cool! But on a serious note: Grats man! before you know it your going to hold the car in such high esteem; its going to be on the one on the trailer and the evo's going to be towing it
  7. Your absolutely kidding me... I just had to buy some woodgrain pieces from Japan three days ago... Hate you Dave, Hate you!
  8. 21,900! If I had the money I would buy a 2nd Stagea... Just to let you know guys, it costs atleast 7500 to get the parts from japan to do this conversion let alone the labour and paint. Plus the quality of the mods, and how much of a sweetheart Bryce is, this car is an absolutely steal. I paid 23k, late 2006 for my 00' S2, (don't regret it one bit). Just letting you guys know how much of a steal this car is. And how Carazy (ooh car pun) Brycey is for selling this thing.
  9. If we don't get 25 people, can we still order them, maybe for a slightly higher price?
  10. If that isn't a sleeper, I don't know what is
  11. Hey guys, since a whole lot of us are asking on the forums what the go on the right type of cooler is; I thought I'd throw something in this thread just to see what everyones opinion is. Option 1 - Cheap Cooling Pro Kit from just Jap. Option 2 - Cheapish Cooling Pro Stealth Intercooler, essentially the same cooler as the cooling pro, but it uses stock piping. Huzzah! Option 3 - Medium priced Trust/Greddy Spec M Intercooler; between 580-640 dollars depending on which buyer you buy them from. This is an example, I think Slide also has R34 ones for $620 dollars, however don't quote me on this. Option 4 - Expensive as crap ARC Cooler kits. Use stock piping, however from what I've read on this forum, the core isn't as good as some of the cheaper alternatives. (This thread also states a specific TRUST V-SPL to suit WGNC34 for 1370). Well these are the options presented from what I've read (and I do mean what I've read; not experienced myself). A Stagea series 1 and 2, can use both R34 and R33 intercooler kits. With the R34 the closest thing to the bank. The R33 just requires a little more hassle when it comes to the installation. Nevertheless if someone could confirm this for me, or just tell me their opinion in regards to which cooler to get; I'm sure this will reduce the amount of threads in the future that ask for an opinion on which make/model intercooler to get. Just an example for myself - I'm after doing a few light mods, full exhaust, FMIC, SAFC, EBC and not too much else. My target is 200AWKW with the stock auto gearbox and then we'll see from there =) Edit: Also people have praised the Blitz LM intercoolers; only found one in the business traders section. 1450 delivered. While this may not be the best price, these kits generally go for over 1200. Also I'd just like to note, the prices i'm throwing here via SAU's supporters maybe aren't the best possible prices; but they look to be pretty close.
  12. I'm also in the same boat as you are G*4, getting ready to throw an intercooler into the S2. Everyone will tell you the ones which use the stock intercooler piping are possibly the best option. Unfortunately these seem to be pretty damn expensive (1200-1500 with piping). These would be the Blitz LM and ARC models (with the ARC having a relatively thin core for the price). Aside from that quite a few people here have just bought cheapies from justjap and are extremely happy with the results. Currently I'm looking at a halfway approach, not too cheap, but not too expensive. The greddy/Trust M spec series look to fit the ticket; however these might need minor tweaking to fit properly (Cut a hole throw the bay in order to allow a pipe to flow through). At the end of the day, if you don't mind a large pipe hanging over your radiator and giving you a little less room in the engine bay then you can go for any R33/R34 intercooler, but the installation may be tricky; which at the end of the day is always the issue. I'm sure other people will be able to give you a lot more information. Intercoolers seem to be a pretty hot topic at the moment.
  13. Yeah that's right! I'm digging up an old thread! (Better than being abused for not using the search function so shuuuuush!). Anyways - Hey guys =) I'm looking at getting a 3" front pipe, dump pipe and high flow cat combo. Currently I have a 3" cat back HKS exhaust with the HKS Super Drager Muffler. Really happy with the sound but I just want to get the job done. Since Alex has a few problems in terms of cutting and fitting the exhaust and there's some debate over R33/R34 exhausts for a Stagea; I'm a little reluctant to buy blind. That being said, is there a split/dump/high flow cat that people know will fit on a S2 stag no questions asked? Furthermore is there a noticeable power gain from lets say a hks system, compared to a just jap exhaust? Might get flamed for bringing up this old thread but shmeh, I know you guys are all too happy to help. Thanks homies
  14. Kindly Jin Man, has organised a Yahoo Auctions Group Buy if anyone is interested.
  15. A little off topic here, but would this fit in my 00 series 2? I really don't want to cut up my Dayz kit, so is there a way around this, or do I need a special slim fit cooler for doing so? Thanks fellas
  16. Hey homies, Since there were quite a few of us that played WoW, quit WoW, then played it again.. only to quit again, I was wondering if anyone's hyped up or looking forward to Warhammer online. So far reports say that it's release will be in the next two-ish months since the open Beta is currently underway. Also they've released a sneak peak at the collectors edition which can be found at the official site My opinion so far is that the game has potential (Looks like WoW without the grinding aspect), however the game seems to have 'no soul'. Textures look bland, combat animations looks really clunky and the orders character models don't seem to have as much detail as you'd like. However with all this being said, the game forcuses on the gameplay, and if your playing an MMORPG that's the lasting factor. Nevertheless it still seems like early days, and we can all remember how many problems WoW had when it first came out. Anyways - what do you guys think? WoW killer, or fail?
  17. Damn man, you guys sure work quick! Car looks like an absolute stunner, looking forward to the updates
  18. I know right, spending 200 bucks on two small pieces of plastic seems pretty carazy!
  19. Ideas Ideas Ideas are popping into my head...
  20. From slidewize the one I linked before shipped to our doorsteps is 175 dollars via EMS, 160 via container. Then you need to put money aside to get them painted. It all adds up
  21. I recently bought some splits - and at the end of the day it wasn't the specs that was the indisputable factor. Different manufacturers test their speakers in different ways, and in different conditions. It really is the same when it comes down to all electronics. Run around with a cd of the music you listen to. I ended up comparing some mb quartz', pioneers, and soundstreams' and ultimately went for the soundstreams'. The bass was more punchy and the sound just seemed 'deeper' than the pioneers, and since I don't listen to acoustic music the mb quartz didn't seem as appealing (as nice a speaker as they are). End of they day, run around with a cd, don't rely on specs, and everyone's different. And yep head units definitely change the quality of the sound as everyone's pointed out
  22. That's most likely the problem. Exactly what happened to me But the RCA's going down one side of the car, and the power cable to the amp on the other.
  23. Oddy I'm sure your blown away with the replies, but yeah +1 for S2 eyelids Even though this is definately jumping the gun a bit - and I'm not sure what type of eyelids you guys want - I've always though of something like this for the stag =)
  24. Yep definately Also some street lights along the southern tip of the foreshore, so its not pitch black =) I've got a super bleh daytime pic, but use your imagination
