    Perth Motor Show

Anyone know if the new GTR is going to be at the motor show?
  2. Looks nice man, I really like the colour. The one thing I can't say I'm too in love with is the kit (front + sides, love the rear), too crazy for me ^^. I guess I'm of much more simplistic taste I'm sure you got great bang for your buck. Very rare to say, but your stag looks unique Congrats!
  3. Well 1st of all lets face it. GT is made for eye candy. It's supposed to look as real as possible. Dwells on performance, but I would say the main attraction to the game is the visual aesthetics. The look of the scenery and everything as you drive by. I am not a sony fanboy, but I was blown away the first time I played GT3-4. The visuals are was what immersed you and made the last games great. Bottom line - GT is not the PS3, lets get back on track here no pun intended...
  4. It doesn't look or sound like a complete monster.. I like I like
  5. We should be proud of nissan, they didn't go the subaru path...
  6. Link works, and that was really cool Love the sliding ^.^
  7. Hah I've been wondering how a RB26 powered Stag has to offer.. sounds damn aggressive
  8. Hah I haven't been to mundairing for a while but last time I went I got freaked out by the road, and the steep descent on each side.. Seemed like a 5-10m drop on each side.. The creaky old bus I was in didn't make it any better. I've got to say that is a far way away to get some pizza As much as I do like pizza...
  9. Started playing it yesterday. The mission briefings look so good, kind of immerses you a little. The game play so far is really cool, and graphics are really great for a RTS game. Heh nods units seem really gimped imo though, that's good for me though since my bro's been nod and I've been GDI since the first C&C Anyone found a good place to download big skirmish maps? The ones your given are kinda crappy to say the least..
  10. So this is turning into system wars.. Hardware definately doesn't give a console the upper hand.. Lets look at XBOX vs PS2, PS2 sold a whole lot more, and its hardware was pretty inferior compared to the XBOX. At the moment, there's nothing out, nor will there be in a year or two that will completely use the 360's processors. Games that run on a 2Ghz pc, ran beautifully on a 700Mhz XBOX, and however odd Mhz the PS2 had (300-400). Consoles don't use full operating systems and therefore aren't tied down as much as computers. Currently the PS3 doesn't have any strong titles on it. And by that I mean titles that define the console. The 360 has a few. And currently it has the upper hand. To think hardware is what defines a console is foolish. Look at the wii, It's got the hardware of a gameboy and still its innovation and makes it great. Ps. what's up with the 360 elite... what a waste of money >_>
  11. This is illegal, and suprised no one has closed this thread..... but just to clear some stuff up Use DVD-R's, XBOX designed to read -R's, may read +R's but you could be degrading the quality of its dvd drive if you excessively use DVD+R's. (PS2's use DVD+R) And for the love of god don't use laser DVD's. They suck more than you'd think. You use a connector cable, not a network cable to connect the two. I use programs like Smart FTP to link the xbox to the PC. Mind you - turn your internet off when you use this program. It opens ports and makes your computer more suseptable to hackers, malware, etc. For burning - Power DVD I think is the best program out there. Nero is fine also, when burning make sure your speed is slow, 2x, or 4x max. Do not burn games to your stock HDD, use a larger one. This does void Microsofts' warranty mind you. If you burn it to your stock HDD, it works a few times but can make your XBOX crash and ultimately screw your XBOX's chipped operating software. Then you'll need to whipe your HDD, and freshly install a new copy For more in depth info go to http://www.copying-xbox-games.com/ Ps. I don't condone burning XBOX games
  12. Played Motorstorm today (1st time playing a PS3) too bad I wasn't thrilled Game was ok, but I was expecting much more from the hype. Oh well ^^
  13. Oh well I had a 60 druid and 60 rogue (alliance) on daggerspine. Then I rolled a BE hunter and hit 70 on frostmourne
  14. is this in WA? or.. is this the same guy who did the rocket powered VW beetle in the US?
  15. Worth like 25 Canadian dollars... But you can pick one up for about 3-4 grand.
  16. Stageas rep-re-zent Though out of the skylines gotta go with 34 for looks. It's the african american skyline. Aggressive front, and rear.
  17. Would be cool to see one with hydraulics.... Edit - Reminds me of that.. Canyoneeero from the simpsons
  18. Congrats man, hope you guys are happy for years to come
  19. haha, I was wondering why it was taken off the home page
  20. I just cancelled my subscription for WoW after 2 and a bit years.. Lvl'd a BE hunter from 0-70 in a month and a half.. The game was awesome, but lvl 70 is hitting a brick wall just like the one at 60. It feels like pvp grinding and raiding - been there done that... The game was great while it lasted And aherm.. WoW does offer realm v realm pvp. its called premades
  21. Ahhh the dreamcast, the most under appreciated console of all time. I still play marvel vs capcom on mine with the arcade stick.. damn so many games on that console rocked. I have to say I never played it online though. I've got a gc but never really played it.. But Dreamcast... *reminisces of holding dreamcast hand in hand skipping in the distance* good times..
  22. A major factor in buying my stag was I wanted one with leather. I did get one, and they are comfy. Not extremely comfy, but not uncomfortable. The truth is - leather looks much better than the other stuff stags come in, and that's the bottom reason why I and possibly you want it. Furthermore its easier to clean. With the comments said above there's positives and negatives to both. Leather impresses
  23. I was just about to say watch some pimp my ride, there's quite a lot of times they use linear actuators to move things 90 degrees. (most cases big tv's) but they pretty much get an L shaped bracket, attach the actuator to one side, and it pushes the bracket (rotating it) outwards. The thing is they usually bolt the linear actuators to the doors, so just hope you have enough boot space. Edit - spelling
