of course without the speed limiter, my speedo got stuck under the 0 a few nights back and I hit the end of 5th, just wondering how quick that was.

Does anyone know how tall the standard fifth gear is in a GTSt? Say I red lined this gear what speed would I be doing? Just curious thanx.

If the engine sounds okay you might be right, more like the turbo. The turbo can burn lots ot oil very quickly creating lots of smoke So this could be the problem, for your sake lets hope so!

Ohh and please never put a bleed of anykind on your car, pay a tuner to do it for you! You would have been running too much boost without the right air/fuel ratio!

Dont drive the car anymore!!! Does the car have a strange sounding idle now? Like a WRX or does the engine sound okay?

I heard about a program for the PowerFC, a fuel mapping thing that has four configurations that the tuner can set. For example one for like 100rwkw’s using as little boost as possible and fuel, this would not only be good for fuel economy but would also help the life of the engine. Then you can have some mid range settings and an all out config for when you really need to move. Not sure if this is available yet, someone was telling me it was coming this year?!?!?
