  3. Don't mention it....................... how come it's my fault that you H-Y-U-N-D-A-I drivers don't know the difference between the stop/go pedals. Next time I get in with you I'm going to the Arms first. Goooooooo Nads.
  4. Check out the fatz photos at http://www.jpmphoto.com.au/Galleries/MotoC...002/index_3.htm
  5. Just got home - installed CORRECT rings on pistons at workshop (and replenished lost bodily fluids) on the way. Missed my car, missed my co-driver, didn't miss having a good time though - passenger with an EC newbie in WRX, toooottally sideways fullllllllll oposite lock through turn 8 ..................................................................high speed ................................and he put the boot in and in and in and saved it .......BALLS!!!! Passenger with fatz - how come you have to wave at allllllllll the cameras when you are sideways, or is it cos' you can. As usual a good day.
  6. Dan and I are going to share his car (get square time) will see you there - fatz I'm in with you as well.
  7. Motoconcepts, the people who hire the track an run these days have been in touch looking for drivers, the half day next Thursday has only six cars booked. If they don't get sufficient car numbers to cover their costs for these days they have no choice but to give the days back to bikes in the future. Everyone I know who has done one of these days has had an absolute ball, come on people, spread the word, get out to the track and experience your car at speed without worrying about losing points. http://forums.skylinesaustralia.com/showth...=&threadid=5964
  8. The R34 was bought from Powerplay by a guy named Joe. He has done a couple of track days with us.
  9. Bring it to Eastern Creek on the 19th December and we can show you.............
  10. Good way to wake up Silver. If my car is f@#ken ready by then I'll come, just so I can have a get together with fatz over a couple of pints afterwards.
  11. That would be the grey GTR with the new tyres and clutch........... The one sitting in YOUR garage.
  12. fatz you should go for VB750 or VBSLAB or PISSED or WINEO or JDSCUL :uh-huh:  :uh-huh:
  13. It is an easy job. There are two 10mm screws on each side, just in front of the wheel, remove all of these first, next there are two 14mm bolts that hold the thing to the car on each side. sort of behind the indicators, loosen the back two but don't completely remove them (makes it easier to put back on), completely remove the front two. Slide the bar forward a bit so you can get your hands in to unplug the indicators, then lift the whole assembly clear of the car. If you need to separate the plastic bit form the metal bit there are several clips which are easily accessible now the bar is off the car. Reverse the process to refit. Should take no longer than 5mins.
  14. I fitted an AVO cooler which uses the stock pipes, I figured that the pipe from the cooler not having to pass up behind the radiator top tank (which may heat it up) was an advantage. Kit cost $1500 (600x300x100), took about two hours to fit, minimal trimming of the front bar was needed.
  15. I got my Power FC through Perfect Run. I was able to negotiate a price a few hundred cheaper than listed on the website. http://www.perfectrun.com.au/performance%2...-fccomputer.htm
  16. Silver my car is still off the road, might make the half day on the 19th.
  17. FREEWAY!!! What!! Have they put in a freeway from the north??? I only remember the OP Highway Dunk, but I guess if you are passenger it dosen't really matter.
  18. fatz Just looking at the calander, on the 1st is the wineclubs annual barrell tasting at Sydney Town Hall, on the 2nd lunch and tasting at Brangayne in Orange, the 3rd Hunter Valley - don't ya just love a challenge.
  19. If I remember correctly - which I do, this road will, after much interesting scenery, (Straights, sweepers, U-bends, very little traffic) will lead us to the Hunter Valley - which, if I remember correctly - which I do, is a real challenge for those who may enjoy fermented grape juice. I ponder - is it a more efficient use of PULP to kill two birds, so to speak, and make an arrangement for those with a liking for the grape juice to sample some of the same whilst in the region. Think of the good we can do for the environment!!!! Wadda ya reckon - fatz - dan - paul - dean???
  20. Jason, the guy who was in your car taking vidoes was Scott, he is usually lurking around the track so you should catch him on the day, he will find you usually. I am waiting for rings to come in from Japan so no engine rebuild as yet. There has been a huge stuff up at work - they know my car is not going to the track day so they assumed I wouldn't be and have rostered me to do some work, WHERE DO THEY GET OFF!! I notice there is a ride/drive day on Saturday the 19th October, should we be thinking about a group booking for this, Paul, Dean?? Also notice that Tim who drives with us (Black S15) has won a balloon flight for being part of a group booking.
  21. Thank you son of mine, most considerate of you........however it may jeapodise my well being getting to the track. F1 tyres have more grooves than yours do!! Dad
  22. Remembering some of the track days I have been to in the past and the misfortune that befalls some of the inexperienced drivers I feel that it should be a condition that newbies are shown the track/lines/breaking points etc. by someone who knows the track, much like many of the car clubs who organise track days are doing. The Honda club has one of their experienced people drive you in your car which can be a way of monitoring the condition of brakes, steering etc. Hopefully this can only make everyones day more enjoyable - especially if everyone makes it to the Arms in one piece. Now - why did I think of this all of a sudden, obviously my car is not a goer yet hahahaha.
  23. Now I now why it has taken you so long to do your degree! Don't listen to him Lawerence, you know what you gotta do.
  24. Thanks for not using the term *lder. I'm 18 .......... with 29 years practice. Good to hear you had a good time - another one addicted!!
  25. BIG turnout!!! I started out a little concerned that we wouldn't make the numbers - we ended up with around 18 starters plus 2 half dayers. Good to see so many roll out. Quite a few new drivers out today - hope you all had a great time and will make it a regular thing. There were a range of cars on the track, stock 1975 Subaru station wagon thru to 1970ish De Tomaso Pantera, Porsches, Datos, Escorts, a red Ultima GTR?? (hand built, mid engine V8 - tame, @ 14 inch diameter disc brakes) Hondas, 200SXs, loads of Skylines and the odd Commodore speed bump with wanker driver included. Seems each track day recently the GTRs don't fair so well, hope that those that had problems sort them out OK. My car is in to have an engine rebuild as of Saturday so maybe next time I can run some boost again. I have to admit that I look forward to each track day, meeting people, burning RON and pissing myself laughing at the pub over a few beers afterwards with some of you clowns is my idea of a good day. Thanks all.
