yeah im turning key off-on most the time ( put in rwd mode till come to a stop ) to prevent extra wear plus extra fun of rwd I have a power fc ecu would that effect the tps for the 4wd??? fi adjusted tps from .9 to .48v putting the 4wd in diagnostics do you have to turn a screw like the engine ecu or something?? with reds on no led on ecu in the boot (passenger side)

Havent checked fault codes yet about to do that now> yip returns to 0 when back off, and I checked tyre pressures and pumped up to a nice firm 38psi 235/40/r18 all round, it does have 10inch wide on the rear and 9"on front. the same thinig happened to my gtr in nz when had 18's on front and gtr 16s on rear why does my previous 2 4wd skylines r32 gts4 and my other gtr in nz it would read 0 unless under bumpy roads or accerating or sliping, while cruising at 105kms.

Hi guys my r32 gtr sits around 1/4 on the torque gauge when crushing around 100kms my gtr in NZ and my old gts4 didn't do this unless I had different size tyres on the rear !! I removed the 4wd controller it had in it and still is sending power when light throttle on the Hilway ?? Any ideas ?? Cheers

Hey there skyliners I'm just fitting a electric fan to my r32 gtr I normally tap in the thermo fan relay that the ecu normally switches on the air con fan when at suitable temp , due to my air con relay been by passed and unsure about power FC tuning I thought I'd get the feed from the sensor ( assume its the fan switch ) at bottom of radiator Before I start testing has anyone know what is the out put wire of the sensor ?? Cheers

Hi guys I've got a basic 4wd controller which also has a rwd switch that came with the car! I haven't played with it much but I found the knob adjusts its from normal 4wd to more fwd !! And when fully one way ( meant to be stock 4wd) it seems to be sending torque to the front early and there's a tiny bit on gauge when cruding at 110kms which my gtr in NZ doesn't do! I'm guessing the controller adds resistance or something that make is like this I believe Nissan from factory got it right so I'm going to remove controller and just hook up switch that doesn't stick out! In my other gtr and past gts4 I had tapped into the 4wd fuse infuse box but they stops abs so I thought I'd try see how the controller wires in and redo that ! Before I dive into tracking where the wires go I thought I get you guys opinion on controllers and where to tap in for a RWD switch Cheers Craig

hello once again id like to pick your brain on a couple of things my recent purchase of a moded up r32 gtr is asking to be stolen with no alarm or any anti theif thingys what type of alarm and where is a good place to get it installed around brisbane i work near browns plains and live near mount gravatt so somewhere near there would be choice as, i noramlly also remove all door lock rods so the door can only be unlock by remote so the key and coat hanger throw the window is useless also the skyline gods have shined a pon me in the past of owning 12 skyline and protecting them from being stolen but if 3rd party fire and theif is cheap enough ill get it for a bit more peace of mine id like to insure it for around $18k are there any good cheap insurance companies recommended?? thanks heaps guys cheers craig

hello skyliners just a quick question for now i got myself a nicely rebuilt forged gtr this weekend gone it has a power fc big single turbo 700cc injectors running 17psi and plan to up it to 20 or 25 psi but has stock air flow meters i got told to go to z32 or r33 air flow meters but i was thinking would a map sensor be better ??? **can the power fc support a map sensor with another tune?? **would a map sensor be more recommended over bigger air flow meters??

has no bov at all i have ordered one! but still stalls if i decellerate and then put clutch in ( so engine allway is in vacuum)

hi all im craig i have a stall issue at decelleration coming to a stop on my r32 gtst that ive tried countless thing to attempt to fix it swap \ by pass sensors, disconnecting o2 sensors \ fuel reg \ coolant sensor to make it more rich etc up idle check for vac leaks blah blah blah but no joy i think a scan tool \ nissan consoul would show a leak sensor and or circuit or irregular reading from a sensor?? but im over the issue and want to pay it to get fix whould any recommend one from the brisbane region??? i work in virginia and live in mount gravatt thanks

hi skyliners my skyline has developed a issue when i change gear 3000rpm and aboue and leave the clutch in and the rev's drop it come completely down and stalls if i change around 2000rpm or leave it in gear till around 1500rpm and then put the clutch in it holds an idle ok it also doesnt stall when cold it got alot worse when i returned the PCV system back on due to an extreme old burning problem when idling for over 2mins which fix the old burning but stalls more often it doesnt stall and holds the idle if i give it abit of gas and slowly release the pedal ive tried uping the idle gone over hoses and hose clamps , tried engine start on joiners there is no BOV at all ( no port at all for one) :S which i plan to put one on soon. any ideas or other easy methods to DIY check for vacuum leaks its a r32 gtst with to4e external rb20det front mount new tps and new airflow meter new fuel pump and no fault codes coming up coil packs are a lil lazy but still shouldnt cause it to stall cheers craig
