  1. Hi everyone, I need to replace the OEM sound matting/insulation in the boot of my R32 V-Spec. It's actually the first car in this thread It is having some work done in the boot and the original needs to be removed and replaced. Does anyone know where to get anything like the original textured sound matting/insulation that is bonded to the boot floor behind the spare? Please see the comedically large yellow arrow in the image below. I want to try for an exact match. The car is completely stock. Any help would be great! Cheers! Mike

  3. What did you end up going for Cherry Racer? I'm looking for rotors and pads for my R32 V-Spec now. Do you have a link to the Nismo rotors? Has anyone used Nismo S Spec pads?
  4. Reckon it was. I checked with him yesterday - he's still got it. VERY nice example.
  5. No worries. There was a dark coloured V-Spec or V-Spec II on Carsales in Queensland when I bought mine a couple of years ago. REALLY NICE. The owner had spent a bit replacing worn bits. Always wondered what happened to it.
  6. Is that the one that was on Carsales for ages and had been really nicely tidied up? New mouldings, rubbers etc?
  7. Something interesting that I was discussing with someone yesterday - mine had about 65,000km on it two years ago but hadn't been driven much. It had had all of it's scheduled services, but only very occasionally driven. Now it has 95,000km on the clock and with thorough and diligent maintenance along the way it is driving better now (engine and drivetrain) than it did when I bought it. It actually keeps getting better. Love it. I don't mind putting km's on - after waiting for 20 years I have no intention of ever selling my 'hero car' and I thoroughly enjoy driving it. It's certainly the coolest car on the school run most days.
  8. I found excellent+ stock mats (really, really hard to find) and put them in storage... and installed black Nismo ones. Other than that I'm slowly procuring new mouldings and rubbers for the exterior and I'll have a respray done at some stage - two dogs tried to get in the driver's side window once and scratched crap out of the door and adjoining panels, then I had two 'bumper corner scrapes' in carparks
  9. That looks awesome. Original cassette player! Is that a Nismo plaque on the engine, or just a sticker?
  10. Terry, just send an English email to that [email protected] email address. You'll likely get a response from Chikako Taguchi. He tends to be the person that responds. Check the pdf letter attached to my first post here: http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/415962-r32-gt-r-v-spec-differences-and-specs-nissan-japans-advice-to-me/
  11. Definitely buy and R33 Ni now.... and then sell them all to me when I win the lottery
  12. Sick. What's the model code on your blueplate in the engine compartment Terry... just to confirm what we think V-Spec II N1's should have (check the first page of this thread).
  13. Hi JH32, would you be interested in giving us the lowdown on your car? There's a template on the first Page of this thread. -Mike
