Sounds like a throw out bearing... Or more likely a split in the clutch vacuum booster pot steel casing... Check and see if the noise is coming from the clutch pedal pivot area.. With the pedal getting heavy though I would say that it is the booster... I hope it is nothing worse than that...

My Mechanic has just put in the new clutch and M & S cylinders but when testing the new clutch the pedal box cracked.... he is going to weld it up and put a strengthening bar onto it for now.. Any one upgraded their pedal box lately?? If so what/where/brand would you suggest??? Cheers

Pulled up in the Ralliart next to a 91 lancer tonight at the lights after it had pushed and swerved it's way through traffic like a dick... It had the Panther body kit and stickers all over the back saying 'got boost' 'Speed machine' plus others... The young P platers gave me a look and revved their stock N/A chatter box... I just started to laugh at them and kept repeating as I was laughing... 'Got boost, no seriously do you have boost' They did not seem pleased lol

Not a Skyline but have to make a comment about the Supra in Mawson Lakes tonight... Silver with massive chrome rims and plates 'CALLME' Possibly the best and nicest looking Supra I have ever seen....

Tyson is a wealth of knowledge I think he did his apprenticeship at Tilbrooks or something and pretty much worked exclusively on Skylines. From what I know there is a new owner of JMS and they are working hard at improving the name from what it was... I have spoken to Tyson on a few occasions and found him helpful and knowledgeable about most import engines...

Nice ^^ as if a Skyline already did not have bad fuel economy... Imagine what it would be towing lol

They have had imports for a while.. My sister in law bought her Holden Cruise from there about 7 months ago. Took her to pick it up, they had some really clean Stagea's there plus a few others. The saleman said they had stocked imports for about 16 months. They where really nice yard as well... from my experience anyhow

I am probably going to come out for a bit... Not on track though, just to have a look

My fuel economy was great until the decision to follow Heslo and a few of the boys... The back way and Snake gully road was far more interesting than the northern expressway though
