  1. will definately be SARD/Nismo, or some other Jap flavour.
  2. yeah will get the tuner to check it out, fuel reg is the pretty much all i havent checked. cheers.
  3. yes its been tuned. i have checked the pump filter and its pretty clear. the car drives perfectly fine off boost, but as soon as you try and sting it, its coughs n splutters. coilpack and ignition has been checked and is fine. pump is still very noisy.
  4. hmmm, i have a Bee*R rev limiter with my power FC on a rb25 and it works ok.
  5. Chinese + moving parts = Steer clear.....
  6. I have a RB25DET with PFC, GT30R, 040 fuel pump, 740cc injectors, stock fuel regulator. my fuel pump is very noisy. it was brand new. its actually the 3RD brand new 040 i have had fitted to the vehicle and all have been very noisy. it has been confirmed that the pump has been installed correctly. when squeezing the fuel lines connecting to the stock fuel reg, the whingy pump goes quite, but after u release the lines, it goes noisy again. the car coughs and splutters with anything more than half throttle, or pretty with any positive boost pressure. i have looked and cant find any kinks in any fuel lines or anything like that, could there be an issue with the stock fuel regulator? I have come to the conclusion that 040 fuel pumps cant possibly be so bad that 3 brand new ones can fail, so i am refusing to believe there is a fuel pump problem. any thoughts? cheers.
  7. ahhh i got one from Belmont Games World. They had a couple there and the V Spec II chrystal white R32 GTR too.
  8. have you got the AutoArt Millenium R34 GTR Z-Tune in 1:18 scale?
  9. Congrats to Borneo from WA taking out Round 1 DA in the most awesome sounding RB25 Skyline you will ever hear! You gotta check it out, the mighty Chainsaw in action
  10. what a flop this car was... must of had some issues.
  11. Grad Tourismo Racer hey? I havent heard that before. interesting. I just figured GTS was the base model and the -t was for the Turbo variant. The R32 was the only Skyline to get the GTS-t name too I believe as the R33 was the GTS25t and the R34 got GT-t.
  12. interested in a stainless steel "cat replacement" pipe plus i need a turbosmart BOV plumbed into my existing stainless cooler piping. plz PM me a price. thanks mate.
  13. if you are thinking about welding on a front cut to your mangled coupe, i probably wouldnt recommend it. let me guess, you crashed and didnt have adequate insurance? Anyway, a 4dr front end is the same as far as i am aware, from the front fenders forward.
  14. i just paid $550 for a meaty 2nd hnd HKS Twin Plate.
  15. in short, no. GTR susp is different to GTS25t.
  16. yes definately one of the better dyno vids that GT2 sounds bombed, shame it looks hideous!
  17. yes, there was a light blue VY ute with a 2JZGTE and getrag 6spd in it in Perth. Saw it at Drag Combat 2006. Did mid 12s from memory and pretty stock too. just cooler, exhaust, pods and a bit of boost.
  18. would go better than a stock 7MGTE would, but $30K???? geez you could buy a genuine Gen III powered VT Clubsport or something for that sort of money, of if u wanted an import, a highly modded R32 GTR.
  19. there is a blue VY ute in Perth with a 2JZGTE + Supra 6spd in it. Good idea
  20. i found electronics ie gauges/ebcs etc are cheaper on nengun, but engine hardware is cheaper with greenline. depends what you want i guess.
  21. cheap premiums is one thing, but claims handling and service to back it up is another. be interesting to hear about any claims made through ryno. if they can do dirt cheap insurance and keep you happy even after a claim, then they must be on to something good
  22. nor can you get ahead in life spending thousands on a modified grey import. House will always come out on top, but theres nothing stopping you having the best of both worlds, a nice little slab of concrete and a quick import
  23. ordered a dual sbc spec r ebc from nengun. took about 2.5wks from payment to delivery. happy to wait an extra couple of days knowing its a very cheap purchase and well packaged for delivery.
  24. i never had problems. only thing was the ride quality certainly wasnt comparable to a set of 16 x 6.5" stockies... P.S alot of car people, several from here actually, commented positively on my 20s so i wouldnt be too worried. He has asked if they will fit, not if he should get them, or what others will think about them. I can tell you now, 20 x 8.5" will fit with rolled guards and 30 profile tyres. just be prepared for camber wear if your susp isnt set up right and your car is lowered as you will find your tyres wear thin very quickly
