  1. I know it may make some of you Nissan boys cringe, but here is my newly purchased car. 1999 Toyota Supra TT 6spd VVT-i It has about 98,000kms on the clock. Mods include a full body kit, 18" wheels, coilovers, a sports exhaust and 3 x DEFI gauges. Looking forward to winding some boost in to the ol' 2JZGTE. P.S Thanks to J-Spec for hunting down the car for me!
  2. +1 for J-Spec, they helped me out with a JZA80 Supra. Car is about to leave Japan, very happy with their service and patience.
  3. As said before, a differing postcode, vehicle type, age, garaging situation, driving history, modification level, financial situation (financed vehicle) etc can have an effect on a premium so unless 2 people with all of the above matching one another, then i doubt you will ever find 2 premiums to be the same. so unless your willing to give all the above details and possibly more, then there is no point coming on and simply telling everyone how cheap your premium is when everyones circumstance is different. I think telling people about your claims experience would be more handy, as at the end of the day you are paying a premium on the chance a claim arises, and how that is handled should be taken in to consideration.
  4. i spoke to a guy who paid $150,000 for a walky with only 1200kms on the clock. these aussie muscle cars values are getting a bit out of hand now.....
  5. in the 5mths or so i was trying to sell 1, i got a total of 4 people look at it. it was modified, and priced well.
  6. interesting colour, is it standard paint? looks neat! time for coilovers and some dish 18s!
  7. The Eagles dont want another trouble maker or shit stirrer, ie Fevola, on their team. He's slack, just like Fraser Gehrig. If he doesnt mark a ball, he gives up. Hopefully Dean Cox will get the captaincy now.
  8. there is about 40kg difference in weight, the seats are different, the sedan ones being the crap ones. 99.9% of parts are interchangable between r33 coupes and sedans.
  9. hey dude, what was the difference in excess and actual coverage between Shannons & Just Cars? $380 difference, there muct be something.
  10. i priced my R33 cheap and sold it in 4 days. silver/grey 2 tone R33 series 4dr and i got $17700. stock body, stock motor, just a big turbo and the associated neccessary bolt ons to go with it. if u want to get rid of it, advertise it at your lowest price and be firm with it, and it will sell. i could have asked $20K for mine but I knew if people saw $17700 price tag, they would jump at it, and they did. my car was only advertised on SAU and another prominent WA forum.

  12. lol, i would be. i would be wanting to take my car to my repairer of choice and have them quote the repairs in and fix it and know that they will do a good job.
  13. Cant see that stacking up too well if you dispute it.
  14. shamus, doing his bit to help out the team on GIOs behalf hey Top stuff.
  15. get some adjustable camber arms for the rear, that will reduce some rubbing, but possibly increase tyre wear
  16. the front mounted oil cooler is probably what ignited the whole idea of front mounted intercooling for turbo cars.
  17. cut the Honda off, get a Lexus GS300
  18. i dont think they can be imported under SEVS, i may wrong though.
  19. motor sounds like an overkill for a drift spec s13. GT3540 or something similiar would be fine, atleast it would gain a bit of response over those other massive turbos you mentioned....
  20. living in Darch, i used to see that car quite regularly. Is that the house that usually has a black R33 GTSt coupe there too??
  21. awesome, i will be down there soon then
