  1. Thanks for all your effort mate, I can't wait to get a set! Timing works out awesome anyway cause bank account will be depleted over holidays/Christmas
  2. Yeah I got the GFB Respons, you can adjust it to recirc or atmo and anywhere in between which is good, I set mine to recirc at moment but muck around with it every now and again, would be good with aftermarket ecu so you could tune for atmo better. But yeah flutter is still pretty strong, if you adjust the spring really soft it helps reduce flutter but feels like it doesn't go quite as good, and it can make the car hesitate a little on and off light throttle, again that could be tuned out with an emanage I reckon.
  3. Wow nice, you must be looking forward to getting it back!
  4. Haha cheers I've been washing it weekly and it hardly ever rains anymore! What r u getting done to yours?
  5. Hey Nick, yeah me again, on way home from work, you were in a black a4 wagon yeah?
  6. Hey no prob mate, I just found out he's moved the business to Pendle Hill, not sure if the phone number has changed but let me know if you try and it doesn't work I'll see if I can get the new number.
  7. Might be a little far for you being on the central coast, but this guy is the bomb for driveshafts, it's probably got the same end knuckle as like a X-trail or heaps of other Nissans so just call and ask. The company is called Steven Driveshafts and he's in Seven Hills off Powers Rd. He's open half day Saturdays and normally can do the job while you wait, boots with repack are about $40 and rebuilt ends around $80 depending on type. You'll have to take the shaft out yourself but, he doesn't have a hoist, just a lot of shafts. Ph: 8678 0898
  8. Yeah hypergear in Victoria do highflows, probably best option, replacement genuine turbo is very expensive. You can find info about hypergear on here by doing a search or they even usually advertise on eBay for m35 turbo rebuild options. Don't know anyone doing them in Queensland but someone on here might.
  9. Spotted a nice looking grey c34 in seven hills today, Riley's Gym carpark around 12, looked like one from the cruise but couldn't be sure.
  10. Cool, my mate at work is selling his current car, it's already on carsales and he said if by chance you've still got yours by the time his sells, he'll come and check it out. So see how it all goes!
  11. I'LL BUY A SET!!!!! If you can get them that is. Thanks for your efforts Dale
  12. A mate at work is looking for a new car and we are trying to talk him into getting a stag, ill show him this tomorrow and hopefully he'll check it out if you haven't sold it already. If I had the cash I'd just buy it and have two! Palm my shit-spec one off to the Mrs.
  13. Yeah, mines been loud since I got it and done nearly 30k more, sounds exactly the same. Pretty sure I read on this forum that the guys that changed their turbo suction pipe found that the banshee scream disappeared afterwards. Might also be less noticeable after highflow or normally you'd do the suction pipe at same time anyway.
  14. That was me for sure round midday, on way home from work, if you were in the light blue golf coming out the street near the bowling club, I spotted you too!
  15. Dunc, If it is a leak somewhere in the intake system, the best tool ever for finding it is a smoke machine (leak detector). If you can get access to one and you have a leak it will find it 100%. Unfortunately we're not in the same state otherwise I could help you out more with it. We've used ours at work to diagnose so many cars that I swear you would either never find the fault or take about a week to do it without that machine. Also, if you've got any mates nearby with m35s, I'd double check your hissing sound with theirs, I've noticed mine seems to hiss a tiny bit when I listen carefully, it makes me always check the boost gauge tube on inlet for a tight seal, but I'm pretty sure it's just normal intake hiss which usually comes from plenum area or at throttle body cause the air gap is tight at idle.
  16. Saw you turn off just in front of us before Gosford, I reckon it was great to see people coming along for whatever time they could manage We had to duck off a bit early from the lunch because bubs was getting too unsettled, she cried all the way from Gosford back to the M2 haha! But it was all good, great to see so many stags and meet the owners. Thanks everyone involved.
  17. Haha finally! You only live down the road from me and that's the first time I spotted your car, I got pretty excited when i saw it Also spotted a yellow c34 on Abbott rd on Saturday around 10, female driver, had cool looking eyelids and groceries sticker on rear.
  18. C34 at Maccas & Shell servo in Northmead, probably around 6:15pm, think it might have been dark green and think you might have seen me parked at maccas while you were leaving.
  19. I've used Liqui-Moly LEICHTLAUF SPECIAL LL 5W-30 for about the last 15000km at 5000km change intervals. My car's very close to stock with 70000km. Never had any problems with this oil, as far as noise or consumption goes, and happy with performance. It's long-life approved for BMW, MB, VW etc, but I just use it cause we only use Liqui-Moly at work and it's the one their website recommends for our engine. I get the LL for free but if I wanted to pay and probably after car gets nearer to 100k I think ill put the LEICHTLAUF HIGH TECH 5W-40 in. I'd recommend Liqui-Moly oils to anyone but I wouldn't try change your mind at all if you've found a brand you like and trust.
  20. Cheers Craig, ill do the deposit tonight
  21. Mate that would be fantastic...for me...and maybe a pain in the ass for you, so if its too much trouble don't worry bout it!
  22. Got beeped on Old Windsor Rd Northmead, around 2:45 this arvo by Gav in the canary. I was dreaming and almost missed ya.
  23. Ok thanks Craig, ill probably get it done eventually but I guess I'd rather get a dump pipe and other stuff to make it go faster before spending that money on being able to watch Bubble Butt on the big screen... Hey Josh can u give me any more info on your switch setup? Is there a wire at the tuner that gets powered up or earthed when park brake is released?
