  1. I do agree, but S15s are still pretty bad ass! Nissan rarely get it wrong
  2. SCORE! That's about what I was expecting to pay
  3. WTB R34 GTT Series 2 side mirror control panel knob thing...or even that whole panel with the window and door controls. The little tabs/clips that hold it into the door panel have been snapped off when the power window was fixed, and now it pops out every now and then. Not really a big problem but it kinda bugs me Must be the Series 2 one though... it's a round knob control not the square one. Bit of a long shot but if anyone can help me out please let me know! Thanks,
  4. Would love to enter, but not sure if my car will be tuned etc by then. If not though will still head down to at least hang out and watch!
  5. If that's the case may as well go all out and get something like this! http://www.windowcanvasonline.com/cart_images/WindshieldL.jpg In all seriousness though, I thought you were allowed a strip (of certain size) across the very top only...
  6. I had to remove the tint on my door windows to pass road worthy, but they let the dark factory glass in the back pass. Would be keen to get it re-tinted, but I want to keep it legal! Any ideas how much just those 2 windows would cost and how long it takes? Might look into it soon.
  7. !!!... Just...wow!!! Would love to see your car in the flesh, that's very impressive! Also, Spotted a white R33 on Mirrabei Drive in Gungahlin this morning. I waved but nothing back. Seemed to have something going on with front end, damage maybe? Only saw it very briefly. Someone on here?
  8. Spotted that black R33 both on my way to and from work yesterday driving down Majura.
  9. Well hello and welcome! You didn't get stickered did you?
  10. Laughed pretty hard at these tbh!
  11. Spotted a black R33 on Majura at about 8am this morning. Waved but I got nothing.
  12. Haha yeah I know, and I think the ECU gives a swift fuel cut if it senses the boost getting too out high and potentially harmful... but pieces of turbo flying through engine is what worries me the most!
  13. Yeah fair point, reason I ask though is because I think (hope) my stock gauge is reading incorrectly. Either that or I'm overboosting. I did the ol' solder trick to the boost sender unit and it fixed it cutting out randomly, but now that it works all the time the gauge is maxing out when boosting hard.If it does happen to be showing a proper boost pressure, this means its pumping around 14 psi!... So I want to install the TurboTech to keep it under control but don't want a gauge telling me I'm running a safe 9psi but really I'm on 15 psi and go bang!
  14. Hey guys, Just asked this question in another thread but figured this would be a more appropriate place for it, plus might help out people in future who want to know the same thing. Any thoughts/opinions?
  15. Speaking of good gauges and accuracy. Does anyone know what the quality of TurboTech's boost gauges are like? I recently ordered a boost controller from TurboTech (after reading how awesome they were) and it came with a mechanical boost gauge. Haven't hooked it up yet tho, wanted to know if it's even worth installing first. Now I assume that they are not their own TurboTech branded boost gauges, that they merely on-sell another brands product packaged in with their own. I also assume that with all the raving reviews of TurboTech's controllers they wouldn't go jeopardising their great reputation by supplying sub-par accessories; but hey, I might be wrong...
  16. Damn... might have to respray my car! Also spotted a black R34 coming down Pialligo Ave this morning. Well I think it was... Only saw C pillar and rear spoiler above the divider barrier.
  17. Spotted a white R33 going towards the airport down Majura last night at about 5:15pm.
  18. Looks sweet! Big fan of R32s, they look so... tough?
  19. Oh also spotted a grey R32 GTR in a basement car park in Acton on Saturday. Had a quick look at it, seemed pretty tidy. Anyones from here? ^lol
  20. Just thought I'd point out that this wasn't me in my new R34 lol! Had mine in the garage for 3 days getting a massive paint clean/resto. 15+ hours later its almost done and looks amazing!
  21. Haha yeah that might have been me. Had to move the car since I had been parked elsewhere (next to a Supra) for a couple of hours and had tyres chalked. Was pretty busy so I was lucky to get a park so close to the show. Had some amazing cars there... got my friend hooked on Skylines too now after he saw some of the GTRs there lol.
  22. Thanks for the warm welcome guys. Already been seeing a few different Skylines around Canberra and getting/giving a friendly wave. Also went to the SAU Nationals in Goulburn the other week, had a chat to a few people. Seems to be a great community of people on here!
  23. Rofl, yeah the first thing I did when I got it was take the 20"s off it... even before a wash. So now I've got a spare set of rims for sale!
  24. Hi All, My name is Brad. Thought I would copy this little intro from the ACT Member's Rides thread. Been frequenting the SAU forums for the past few months, until I finally registered as a member when I decided that I would take the plunge and get a Skyline of my own! It took me about 2 months or so of searching, enquiring and inspecting many different R34s from all around ACT and NSW before I eventually came to own my "almost perfect" R34 GT-T. I have had it for a couple of weeks now but haven't got around to posting on here till now... 2001 Model - Series 2 Pearl White 85,000 kms - not sure if genuine, but great condition leads me to believe it may be. Manual Factory Sunroof! Basically 100% stock standard except for HKS Turbo timer and rear adjustable control arms and bushings (which I had installed). Came with 20" rims on it and a spare set of 100% brand new stock rims which I have put on as I was not a fan of the 20s. (will hopefully be selling them) http://i1288.photobu...4/BradD54/8.jpg http://i1288.photobu...4/BradD54/7.jpg http://i1288.photobu...4/BradD54/3.jpg http://i1288.photobu...4/BradD54/5.jpg http://i1288.photobu...4/BradD54/6.jpg http://i1288.photobu...4/BradD54/4.jpg http://i1288.photobu...4/BradD54/2.jpg http://i1288.photobu...4/BradD54/1.jpg Note the number plates which I am stoked about! Just got lucky when I had to transfer rego. Current plans for it are: Remove stock solenoid and install manual boost control+boost gauge - as I think it might be overboosting... Turbo back exhaust - Stock one is a little too quiet/restrictive. Decent panel filter for intake Black/dark grey 18" TE37 style rims - can't justify the cost for legit Rays TE37! Then ECU + Tune once I've got it to a stage I'm pretty happy with. Possibly thinking of changing the front bar but still undecided as it is really starting to grow on me. Will be doing little details here and there, but basically just full "stage 1" mods and then I'll see from there. Just have to get back on top of money now after spending so much just to get it! The R34 GTR has always been a dream car of mine, and since I cannot afford to shell out for the "real thing" I settled for the next best! I am on SAU pretty much everyday and look forward to getting involved in the Skylines Australia community!
