2BNVS
i plan on putting in a roll cage in my car, but i have 2 concerns regarding it 1) is there some way i can still retain use of my backseat? or is this a sacrifice i have to make do without for a cage 2) is there any way it can be fitted in the rear without being put through my parcel tray into the boot ( stereo issues) if not then ah well ill make do without the cage but just an idea incase the car starts runnin quick times cheers...ben. Nismo_Boy
1) Generally Japanese cages don’t go through the parcel self. They bolt onto the rear wheel arches, as per the pic of my cage. 2) As you can see from the pic the rear bars bolt onto the wheel arch, thus having a rear seat wouldn’t fit unless the seat was re made to fit around the bars, and then you have the issues of getting around the diagonal brace if you wanted one. Why you would I’m not sure as its illegal to carry people in the back with a cage. Hope that helps *Edit* If your running quick times you’ll need an ANDRA approved cage anyway, so I guess the above is really not relevant as you would be getting a custom one made no doubt.
