Whats The Go With 90 Degrees?

i heard from a bloke today that after turnin the wheel more then 90 degrees the 4wd in gtrs/gts4 turns off.

anyone heard of this??

sounds like a bunch of crap to me, not that i have any knowledge of A/4WD systems at all but what would be the point of it ?

apparently, for drifting, you enter the corner at high speed, turn into it, brake for a bit of arseend slidage, the 4wd turns off cos the wheels past 90 degree. when u approach the corner exit, straighten the wheel up and boot it. wheels straight so the 4wd kicks in and pull u outta the slide.

sounds all good in theory but i like keepin the back end in line with the front. dont wanna dint the car!
