Just curious about fuel consumption with a hi-flow turbo.

I have a r33 with rb25det with the following mods:

ces split dump and front

tanabe cat back & hi-flow cat

apexi pod boxed of

greddy solid pipe between turbo & afm

exhaust cam gear set @ -4deg

running 13psi of boost

Bosch 040 fuel pump

PFC

Was curious about the hi-flow r33 turbo, as i know I would love one of these, but worried bout fuel consumption. I use this car as my daily driver, so it racks up around 300-400k's per week. Im happy with the car at the moment, wouldnt mind some more power, but just worried bout the consumption of fuel.

If anyone out there has similar mods, but with a hi-flow turbo , just curious to see what your fuel consumption is like say running 1.2bar of boost?

I do realise i will also need to upgrade to a z32afm and prob update the fuel system, ie FPR...

So shed some light on the fuel consumption, and ill see if i want to upgrade.... :D

Thanks

Fuel consumption is a direct relation to the use of your right foot.

If your going to mash the pedal to the floor all the time, expect poor economy.

If you drive sensible and (as a daily) you wont need to boot-scoot everywhere... i couldnt see why economy would change a great deal
