hi people,

im selling this ca on behalf of a realtive who is going to loose his license soon for 13 months so hes decided to sell it rather then let it sit in a garage for 13 months.

THe car was imported over a year ago under the 15 y/o rule and was engineered and registered in Victoria. The registration was paid on a few weeks ago also.

THe car came with a few dints here and there so the car was fully presrayed in black metallic with a very noticable gold pearl. THE rear spoiler was removed and the holes blocked off. Bodywise this car is immaculate except for the front bar which has a cracker on the lip which will be fixed upon sale. This car looks abosulutely stunning especially when the targas are removed, a great example of a cruising car

Engine wise this car has undergone the fulll treatment with genuine Nissan water pump and timing belt along with a full service not long ago. The car is is on 106,000 km and drives like a dream as auto NON TURBO are more reliable than the twin turbo version.

Interior wise the 2 standard ZX seats were removed and 2 Recaro lookalike bucket seats put it. The boot has been custom made and new compartments to match were also installed. THe car also has remote keyless entry

The car drives exceptionally well as it has been maitained very well. Mechanically the car is A1 and no crash history, with inspection welcome.

The car is up for sale for $10,500 and is in melbourne (broadmeadows)

All replies for pics or questions about the car can be done via pm or calling me on 0408 57 86 27

thanks

6. No posting on behalf of others! - If your mates want to advertise their car here on SAU, tell them to register.

If you post for someone else, there is absolutely NO ACCOUNTABILITY nor options for recourse if something were to go sour in the deal. If your friend wants to sell his/her car, get them to register. It takes all of 2 minutes.

If you dont own it, you can't sell it.

    • The final part arrived today to un-clampify and simplify the intake Who would have though a 1/2" hose stainless bulkhead fitting designed for below waterline bilge pumps would be what I needed Test fit on a 3" offcut I had laying around to see if it would work, and it worked a treat All going well the intake will be on its "final version" tomorrow

    • Welcome to SAU, what are you looking at buying?
    • I checked the injectors again (1 and 2, since they’re easiest to access) to make sure they weren’t clogged. Even though the entire fuel system had been cleaned, I wanted to be certain. Everything looked clean, so I reinstalled and connected everything. When I started the car to confirm everything was okay, it immediately revved up high, so I shut it off straight away. I checked to see if I’d missed a vacuum hose or something, but everything was connected. On the second attempt, the car ran without the high idle, but I noticed a distinct “compressed air” sound coming from the engine bay. Tracing the sound, I pushed injector #6 forward slightly and the noise stopped — it turned out it wasn’t seated properly, despite the fuel rail being bolted down. While holding it in place, the car idled steadily without stalling and ran for over 5 minutes. At this point, I pulled all six injectors out just in case I hadn’t seated them correctly or dirt had gotten onto the O-rings. Unfortunately, I discovered that I had damaged 3 out of 6 injectors (the OEM 270cc ones) during installation. So yes, this was my fault. Since only the pintle caps were damaged, I’ve ordered a Fuel Injector Service Kit from NZEFI to refurbish them. In the meantime, I reinstalled my new injectors – the car now idles fine for over 15 minutes without stalling. I have not attempted to drive it so far. It’s not perfect yet, as it hesitates when the throttle is pressed, but it’s a big improvement. Unplugging the IACV with the new injectors idles at around 800rpm, even with the IACV screw tightened fully. But this is probably due to tune.
