hahaha yeah KINDA... except no turbo :P

i gave up on the lawn mower. we decided to get someone to do the lawns on our properties.

mr 32 that sounds good to me mate, bring it past whenever you like, my number is 0422 299 414.. give me a buzz and we'll organise a time that suits you.

ive kind've tuned it, but now when it turns off after the tank runs out it doesnt turn back on unless i give it a break.. is that normal?

it still runs hella rich though.

Nopers.. should be able to start it straight away. If anything, it should be EASIER to start than when it's cold.

I'd guess that your overfuelling is flooding it when it switches off? Needs to be leaned out in any case from what you describe.

ok just got back from 3 hardwares and a plumming suply store and i couldnt fin pvc anywhere near the size of my buggy rims. so it looks like i will have to duck tapping over the rubber. any other ideas would be good.

and is just the rear tyres or do you change all?

thanks mr 32

try bunnings warehouse on milperra rd.

ive got some 65mm pvc at my place that i use.

thats what i did before i got pvc.

did you try bunnings warehouse plumbing section?

theyve got 1m lengths of different sizes.. i might go buy some more in a different size to see if i can get a better fit.

yeh i went down to bunnings before but i dont know what section i was in, that place is so big now.

thsts a good idea the tighter the fit the better you dont want them to come off mid slide

hehehe!!

Oh... If it's pouring down with rain tomorrow, obviously this will be off. The courts are outside. Otherwise, it's looking good for tomorrow! =-D

You can use www.travelmate.com.au to map from your house to Abott Road in Curl Curl. Use the map-maker option. =-]

Buggy tyres... sometimes it's best to buy PVC that is a fraction SMALLER than the tyre, then squeeze the tyre inside the PVC (while it's still on the rim)

If you want to mount directly to the rim, use electrical tape and wrap the rim until you can just *barely* squeeze the PVC on. Keep the tape tight all the time, and count how many complete revolutions you do... this makes it quicker for the proceeding rims.

    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
