and a used one without a controller albeit for an R33 has just been advertised for $650.

i am a little negotiable but sorry can't do a brand new in the box pfc with controller for anywhere near $500.

The power FC I bought can't be used as an example. The seller need funds therefore it was priced to sell. The price listed above are very reasonable, best of luck with the sale.
