That's sweet as, i'll take 7!

as for a written off stagea, i don't even know where to start looking for one, probably have to import it hey?

A bit late

A damaged Stagea sold last week in Perth thru the Fowles auctions

Apparently Mr-GTR (Steve) has some body shells??

wonder who bought it, i want some bits and pieces from the interior mainly, any ideas who owns it now?

It was a reapirable write-off

Needed a new front, was not that bad

It had over a 140,000km and was dark green stock

It will probably end up back on the road

A guy in the WA section owned it, but the insurance company wrote it off.

You could try some of the bigger wreckers in Perth, if it went for wrecking they would be able to find who has it.

It went thru yesterday

I thought about buying it put the R34 front on it

But wrong colour and too high K's for me.

The auction centre may tell you who bought it, but probably only if it was bought by a wrecker.

cool cheers, i know the previous owner i used to chat online abit with him, just wondered where the bits might have gone thats all :P

My local nissan dealer was nice enough to get me a part yesterday. one of my hooks that the lugage divider hooks onto in the boot had snapped off when i had stuff in the back. only set me back $15.20 for a new one. he's a bit of a import fan, so i think he likes to help us out when he can.

The first photoshop effort looks ok, whereas trhe Crewman style is just plain wrong - needs a rear canopy, trherefore might as well stay a wagon!

The green-beast Stagea with R34 front looks HORN!!! Mind you a lot of ppl wouldnt know it was derived from a Stagea wagon & not a R34 sedan.

I was looking at it before I bought the other 2.

I am upto 5 cars at the moment

6 would push me over the edge LOL.

I'll save ya the trouble... as you may already know, one of the boys at J-Spec picked it up to do an R34 frontend conversion. It arrives in Melbourne on Tuesday.

Green's his favourite colour too... he almost painted the widebody kakimoto in lamborghini green :(.

IF he gets around to doing anything with it. He has a reputation of collecting half done cars :) If he pulls the engine out then I've already got dibs on it :D

The price... put it this way... I was thinking of paying the price, just to pull the engine loom and ECU out and put into my GTS4. By the time its all repaired properly though it'll cost the same as importing one from Japan.

I'm gonna be organising for your guards to be copied down here, and we'll get the rest of the kit from japan (and copied for you). That way everyone's got a complete kit. We were hoping to coax Ernie to give us a copy, but it seems he's sold SkylineImports to some other guy.

Your taking moulds of the masa gear correct?

    • Wife wanted basket things in the wardrobe in our temporary house. Thought about ripping our the wardrobe and fitting the entire IKEA set, but it's a temporary house and we want to move in a few years. So IKEA advertises this as a 50cm unit, however the actually basket and rails measure 46cm wide. Only issue was depth, IKEA stuff is quite deep, where as the builder special junk is super shallow at less than 40cm. Send it, chopped the rails, then offset the mounting holes, job done, happy wife, less shit scattered all over the bedroom. Did the same to the other side too. Also drove the Skyline shit box today, dropped off oil at Supercheap Auto. I didn't realise they only now take max 2x bottles per visit. I visited 2x Supercheap Autos.
    • I've seen similar actually in my situation. You never know what tables are attempted to be used when the car thinks it's -99C or +200C. The fail state is not usually that extreme but you know what I mean - it was in my case though! This is where being able to read all the sensors is useful cause you see this stuff really quickly.
    • The above is very important. However as long as you keep timing relatively low, it's plausible to make your own knock ears and plausible to learn to tune with a modern ECU that can do wideband O2 correction like a boost controller. I mean if you only have one viable road to even drive the car on, learning to tinker to this level may be worth doing given you can't do much else with the car...?
    • I find the fact that the rear plate has to be bent inwards at the rear not so bad: but the front is just awful: It's like come on. (these are my very old, now retired/turned in plates) TBH it is a lot of money to fix a minor issue, the fact I said "I'll never really spend the money on doing this" is why people ended up buying them as a gift for a 'car guy' who can be hard to shop for.. for car guy things.
    • I just bent the ends of my premo plates. It even went through Regency like that after the engine conversion and the inspector (a great bloke!) just squinted his eyes and said "I didn't see that". Plates, and how they look, are just something that have zero importance to me.
