Hi

Are there different versions of the ER34 PowerFC?

I want to buy one, the serial number is ER34 0002-0005 (rather low number).

I am afraid I will be buying an old version that may not be fully featured.

Does anyone know if this is the case?

I would assume that since the R34 GTT is a fairly new model, there would be only 1 version of the pFC going around.

Cheers

I am no expert but I have seen a few different model PFC's and I am thinking the first four digits indicate the year of make (of the PFC) ie 2000, 2nd month.. I could be well off the mark but the newer versions I've seen have indicated to me they're probably a year indicator.

The last four seem like the build number of that make.

if you plug in the hand controller then got to -> etc, then the first option (i think ) then it will tell you the version number of the PFC and hand controller.

You may be better off checking the Power FC FAQ section in the tutorials or contacting PaulR33 IF you can't find it there.

Good luck

Phil

I have a realted question as well as I received my Power FC today.

I ordered a D-Jetro version and am wondering whether theres anything specific that indicates the D-Jetro version on the box or on the unit itself. The box says Nissan GT-R BNR32/BCNR33, so it is compatible with my car, but theres no word 'D-Jetro' anywhere. The only thing that I can see that could mean its a D-Jetro version is the serial number, which is PFC GTR33D xxx-xxxx

^^does the D in the serial mean D-Jetro?
