Hi all,

My s15 has a bit of a problem. sometimes while driving the car just starts shaking so bad that my car runs so slow on the start, Then if your drive it on 1st gear and let it go to 5000rpm the car suddenly just jumps and works normall again. i had a bit of ideas like, one of my coil pack is not giving a spark and my friends says its the valves coz its bent. if anyone has been through this or has an idea. please let us know.

Thanx all

Mmmmmm, well, this is Sau not NS.com. I think you would have a better response there as most people here deal/own with skylines :)

but.....if this thread was in the forced induction section it would get a response that is technical (ish)

just a thort.. have ya check your coil packs (asuming it has them), for cracks or water in them? it can cause them to arc and cause a missfire. happend to me and has also to a few others. if its got water, just dry it and it'll be fine.. if its got a crack in the rubber, u can simply get some good electrical tape and tape it up well.. but not too much that it doesnt fit back in.

also could be a dud spark plug..

just a few ideas

hey mate, sounds similar to what my car is doing, most likely it ya coil packs. i checked all my plugs and they are all in good condition. i think this is caused by them heating up to hot. i have checked all mine and the seem not too look too bad. but still need replacing. im thinking of making up a new loom with plugs for the coil packs as well

i wouldnt think it would b ya valve
