Well I certainly didn't vote Family first. I don't belong to their church, so why would I vote for a them.

its not about belonging to a church

its about wanting ppls in that take a stance on moral issues

since most ppls think there morals are good enough ill end that there

so u would be fine with having 2 dads that kiss in front of ur mates (if u had any) and have them drop u off @ school for another day of ridicule and torture from every1 calling u poofter boy

I DONT THINK SO

edit

if they wish to choose that lifestyle that is totaly there choice but they have to accept the consequences

Im with you, I totally have seen the big picture, I understand what you are saying and the consequences.... but what if that gay couple are the best chance of a family that a adopted kiddie might have? ie money, resources, and the love to bring up the child as their own (as stated Im against IVF for gay couples, but ok for adoption).

If more and more of this happened then maybe ppl's tolerences would grow and expand? Making it more bearable to the child in question.... but remeber that child would be Loved and thats one of the most important things in life.

Now Im with you again with the adam eve & steve scenario; its not meant to be (ie reproduce and bring up your spawn and see you spawn reproduce as well - which in my eyes is what makes you SUCESSFUL in life, you probably know what I mean you've got kiddies too).

I owned a deer farm down yankallilla; Ive seen what happens when too many male bucks congregate in the one enclosure. It aint pretty, but is a part of "life" - just they cant reproduce unless with a doe. Same with (most) of nature all over.

What I have against family first party is the way they want to restirct freedoms, ie ppl's freedom to do certain things, such as a proposed curfew on young ppl I have read about (ie the liberty to be able to drive in the late hours of night), etc etc.

Oh well, just my thoughts...... (proud daddy) Brendan

im all for under 18's having a curfew have u seen the amount of damage that gets done (not all underagers mind u)

up my way night after night phone boxes bus shelters and the likes gets smashed up in the cause of FUN

who pays for all this but the consumer = higher phone calls and bus trips /rant

I DIDN'T vote Labour because they want to impound our cars........
lol.. Funny thing was I cursed labour that exact same thought as I voted.

I hear there's a helicopter with a highrez camera and radio to take footage of hoon activities that instantly is reported to police where they hunt you down on the road pull/bend you over.

If you drive like a dickhead on public roads, you deserve to lose your car.

How dare you complain about measures put in place to stop idiotic behavior that could endanger the lives of MY CHILDREN!!!

(And don't say you don't do it around others cars..... It's just a poor excuse)

look at this, and imagine having to say sorry to me for killing them.........

kids3.jpg

Your talk just points out that you have no concern for anyone else that yourself......

And if you did kill them because you were driving like an idiot, you could guarantee that I would slay you myself.... It would be worth going to jail for....

Flame me.... go for it.... my kids are worth an infinitive amount more than your car

I agree idiots should have their cars impounded - loss of licence doesn't always stop them from driving but if they don't have a car its a different story.

I may be selfish but i voted for the people who will best benifit me. My family is all pissed off with me as I didn't vote for Nick Xenephon, don't get me wrong i like what he is doing for stopping most of the polly perks but that is all he seems to be doing.

As for the curfew we had a bunch of 15-18 year olds throw a party last weekend that went from Friday night to Monday morning we had letter boxes being blown up glass smashed all over the road - try driving on a street covered with broken bottles glad i didn't go anywhere. I went out saturday my mate \ neighbor drove when we got home there were people running around out front lawns and stuff like that.

PimpnQ45,

Hooning is extremely subjective, this subjectivity needs to be weeded out with added measures put in place that requires say for example another motorist as witness.

I am all for some sort of hoon law but one that requires just that little more proof rather than 'just' mr. police man pulling you over because he thought you were hooning when really he is having a bad friggin day and he doesn't like your car. It happens, sure occasionally well maybe every blue moon, don't tell me it doesn't.

The hellicopter with a high rez vid is by all means an excellent idea, if you do the crime you do the time. The video is there for proof. My comment on hunting one down and pulling/bending one over was written in jest.

You sure do have a short term memory. 'He who posts up vids in the forced induction section of his self flying around the back streets of Morphett Vale. (Elizabeth road to name one).

Just to show others in this forum what a hippacrit you are....

See this thead... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...opic=107208&hl=

And mr Pimpn's thrash vid around the back streets. What is the famous quote 'GOOD ONE NANNA' as you have to lay off the gas for a second as she crosses the road, as pass her you boot it screaming off down the street, mean while she is still only half way across the road might I add.

Then finally left off Lambert on to Elizabeth Rd for one final boot.

I have a copy if others wish to pm me for it as no doubt this dodo will soon pull it down.

I too have a little 13month old son, NO I don't fly around, sure i give it a little poke here and there but never silly and NEVER over the speed limit.

In 10years of driving my only traffic offences are 2 speeding fines. The first, I was 19 overtaking a car on the open road, I was clocked at 131 in a 110km/h zone, the second was shortly after, I was done doing 71 in a 60 down a hill early in the morning no one on the road not completely paying attention.

So get your hand of it preacher.

gotton now and watching :D

edit

not much will of helped that vid very poor camera work

car sounded great but alas we forget our kiddies :D

dw it comes with being aussie we constantly do dumb thing and pull others up for doing wot we did last week

Edited by Madaz

lol funny thing was I or sky30 never indicated we hoon.

For christ sake I haven't even been on any recent cruises for this very reason.

I really can't be frigged having to speed around just to keep up.

I simply don't approve of the way hooning is allowed to be subjective.

yer I reworded the post.. it didn't make sense.. lol

I've heard of a couple cars being impounded, one on nissan silvia I believe and also one skyline here in sa. I don't know the circumstances behind those incidents.

Read page 4

http://www.sa.alp.org.au/download/now/street_crime.pdf

Police now have the authority to immediately impound vehicles for up to 48hours IF SUSPECTED of being used for hoon driving.

The above vague statement is what I disagree with.

There's also this.... http://www.ministers.sa.gov.au/minister.as...7&s=Hoon%20laws

my vote goes to family first

NOW dont get me wrong i dont hate gays but they should NOT be alowed to adapt kids or be able to use the IVF program and if these 2 have there ways thats where its heading

people used to talk this way about mixed race couples

A fella that I know that has a R32GTR had his car inpounded at Berri. He told me about it when he came into my work. He said that he was in the main drag out the front of a pharmisist and had to reverse back a meter or 2 , as he did this his tyres screeched because he had a lockertype of diff. He was on his way home about 30km's out of town when a policeman pulled him over . The police man told him to get out of the car and turn it off. Another policeman rocked up and then another. None of them said anything to him until the third rocked up and then they said were inpounding his car for the night. He had to get a hotel for the night and the come home the next day. Now I dont know how bad the wheel spin was {he said nothing other than a slip or 1/2 second chirp} but I seen him on the side of the road 2days later with an officer looking under his bonnet . He was apparently pulled over again 400mtr's down the road again for an unpaid fine.

He told me that when he was younger he told an officer to F--- off and I would assume he has a little black mark on his record so to give him a hard time when ever they see him.

Now back to the impounding of his car, the coppers took the word of the pharmisist over him {hearsay} and impounded his car . Really this just means that someone might not like you and complain and you will be punished without proof . Now I thought we were innocent untilproven guilty in this country, but thank's to the hoon laws not so.

But I fully support them Only if were taking Idiots off the road that are a threat to me, you and our children.

Any way hoons that give the rest of us a bad name have only brought this onto themselves.

this is my opion anyway ! :D

so u would be fine with having 2 dads that kiss in front of ur mates (if u had any) and have them drop u off @ school for another day of ridicule and torture from every1 calling u poofter boy

I DONT THINK SO

Is this the fault of the gay parents or the fault of the redneck parents of the other children.

Who makes policies decisions based on what the other kids at school might say.

    • My experience with Rising Sun Exports Before agreeing to the sale I tried to do as much research as I could (obviously), his Facebook reviews are 98% and he goes Live at least once or twice a week. I contacted 2 people in the UK who had used him for their imports, both had positive feedback. His explanation and talk through of the import process was thorough, answering any query no matter how stupid it was. It felt as soon as the money was sent, communication dropped off. I asked for shipping updates every 2 weeks or so, not wanting to pester him, he never had any updates. I wasn't informed the car had been dropped off at the port, I only found out by his Facebook story. I asked for the photos taken at the port, knowing he would need some for insurance purposes. I received a few 5 second clips and that's it. When asked again, he said his staff had them. Weeks later I asked again, he tells me he doesn't have any, but does have 50 photos from the original advert. I never received them. I eventually got the documents sent via WhatsApp after I mentioned the port was requesting them. I purchased a CarVX report, to find out the vehicle is a Grade R with recorded accident damage, first recorded in 2017 when it was first auctioned. He never told me the grade, then again I didn't ask. His response was "Grade R means nothing, it wasn't chassis damage". Still, I would have liked to have been informed about it. Jon prides himself on being open and honest when it comes to inspecting cars, it's his main job doing so at the auctions for customers. When the vehicle arrived in the UK I noticed a few little cosmetic issues. It's a 21 year old car so it wasn't going to be mint condition. The side skirts are cracked on each corner and the sealant is failing. The front grill on the bonnet/hood isn't secured very well, mounting studs are missing. Both minor things, but again, it would have been nice to be told. During a Facebook Live walk around video of the vehicle, he mentioned it has a front Whiteline anti roll bar/sway bar. While on the inspection ramp, I noticed the stock item has been installed. When first questioned, his response was "the ARB? Switched? Since when, it never had them". Since sending video and photo evidence I've not received a response. I'm probably being over critical of the overall condition of an old car, but all I wanted was honesty (which he claims to have). I'm aware I wasn't his only customer, he's busy doing XYZ but other reviews praise him for great communication with regular updates and photos, I felt I didn't receive the same treatment.
    • I was able to get some underside photos while the car was on the ramp The suspension is all Altezza/IS200/IS300 so getting part's will hopefully be less of a headache
    • Welcome to my 2004 Toyota Mark ii IR-V Fortuna (series 2) With a 1JZ-GTE powerplant under the bonnet (hood) it'll give me plenty of scope for power upgrades. For those who aren't familiar with imports, the 1JZ-GTE is a 2.5L 6 cylinder VVTi engine with a single turbocharger. This has the factory R154 5 speed gearbox, along with a aftermarket 2 way LSD differential (brand unknown). Under the arches are a set of CST Zero 1 alloys, 18x9 +30 225/40 up front and 18x9.5 +15 265/35 on the rear. The car was quite low in Japan and there's evidence of the wheels catching the rolled arches/fenders. The tyre's aren't great so I'm in two minds whether to replace both or just the tyres and put up with the wider wheels on the rear. The car still uses stock brakes with the addition of some braided hoses. The exterior is stock with the exception of a BN Sports front bumper and a replacement Fortuna grill  Moving to the interior, the steering wheel has been replaced with a dished MOMO steering wheel (which will get swapped for my Momo Tuner for the time being) Defi Link Gauges are mounted above the climate controls and on the A pillar, the Oil Temp,Oil Pressure,Water Temp and Boost gauges should help with spirited and track driving  The stock seats have been replaced with some retrimmed Recaro bucket seats. Being a larger build these are a little snug, unfortunately the orange isn't for me so I'll look into replacing these down the line. Other modifications include a twin plate clutch, Blitz intercooler, Evolve alloy radiator, a stainless exhaust with decat, HKS EVC-S boost controller and coil overs
    • Apologies for the long read My R34 GTT was up for sale at the beginning of spring due to a few repairs creeping up. The strut tops needed replacing, roof and bonnet (hood) painting (yay for 3 stage pearl) and the underside stripped and treated. I sold the car which allowed me to be in a much better place financially. Leading up to the sale I was already thinking about the replacement. In an ideal world it needed to be a good all-rounder. Something I can mess around with, modify, do track days, do the school run, go on long drives etc.  Options included but not limited to... Laurel C35, Evo 8/9, Civic FD2, Impreza Hawkeye, Aristo and even an Audi S4 Avant (I've already got the Mazda 6 wagon). But there was always one car at the top of the list The Toyota Mark ii JZX110 I found an advert on a Facebook group for an example in Japan, from a seller called Jon at Rising Sun Exports. A few messages back and forth and Jon calls me from Yokohama one morning (or afternoon in his case). He briefly explained the import process, the costs involved and a repeat of the advert. After much deliberation, the price was agreed and the sale was locked in. I've never imported a vehicle so I jumped into the unknown head first. The money transfer was completed through wise.com (fees apply), very easy to use and the money was with him within a day or two.  The car suspension was raised for the vessel and the car dropped off at the port. It was 7 weeks later when the bill of lading was received and the freight invoice sent to me, followed by the export certificate a couple of days after (both digital copies) In the mean time the port had been in contact. I needed an agent to deal with the NOVA (notification of vehicle arrival) along with the tax/duty invoice, this was £75.00. The port also had a fee of £100, I'm guessing to cover the cost of the 10 day 'free storage' and for moving the car off the boat etc. They need a copy of the vehicle invoice, freight invoice and export certificate to allow the vehicle to pass through customs. The vessel arrived on Tuesday 5th August, the tax/duty invoice was generated and sent over. This is generally tax 20% and duty 10% of the vehicle value. Although the invoice came in at a higher amount than I had calculated. Once HMRC had received the payment the vehicle could be released from customs. I thought once the tax/duty was paid you could collect at any point, that's not the case. Your agent will need to book a collection slot, I requested Thursday 7th which was accepted, with a 9:00am slot allocated. It was a 5:00am start from Norfolk heading to Southampton. We eventually found the compound, upon presenting the bill of lading and some ID they released the car (they drove it out of the compound to the front ready for us to load up). The email from the port stated each slot had a 10 minute window, which seemed abit farfetched but the staff said it's not a strict rule. We were there for approx. 30-40 mins in total. A week prior to collecting I contacted my garage and explained the situation, I was able to get an inspection slot that afternoon. For the registration, DVLA require the car to be insured, for this I used a company called Adrian Flux who can insure the vehicle using the VIN number.
