if its on your car already and running ...... its pretty easy to work out if its a DET version.. she wont make full boost to around 4000rpm

laggy sons of bitches on the 20s..... but great fun i reckon.

some where steel wheeled.. in the earlier Leopards and 300zx's .... most of the later ones are ceramic rear..... 15psi would be safe amount to run without leaning too hard on the motor or the turbo if either of the 2 arent in 100% working condition.

OP6 on teh rear housing is what u gotta spot before u cough up bills for turbo.

mine cost me 150bucks....lol few months of boost .. freed it up and it stopped making shitty bearing noises..... but gives me the impression its bush not ball bearing'd

Thanks if thats the case im pretty sure its the DET version it doesn't start spooling till round 3800 full boost at 4600 got told it was because the cooler and piping i was running plus the timing is out i think. 600/400/100 i think pretty big all the same with 3'' piping on it and only 7psi. Will timing make the turb come in later

I agree Ithink some were steel wheeled. Also the Vg30det's came from the factory with forged internals. So obviously they were meant to handle more boost from the factory.
