Window Stopping 1 Inch From Top And Clunking Bad

Hey everyone,

For a few months my window has been making these chronic clunking noises when i goto close it. It only happens when its about 1 inch away from the top (of closing). The only way to get it to the top is to grab onto it when its going up and assist it by giving it a help with lifting.

I had the door panel off yesterday trying to diagnose the problem but couldnt figure it out.

Surely someone has some advice?

hey the window reg drive is rubber they split all the time if this is busted the window will fall

down all by itself and wont go up or down by the switch or the motor itself is busted they have plastic gears

that are prone to striping / its just a few bolts to undo to pull the whole thing out and have a look
