Hi all new to the skyline world, just bought a r32 gtr and was wondering what the fuel consumption is like on a stockie.

Also whats the fuel consumption on ur car, include mods so i can see what to expect.

Thanks

hows it goin, im alexr33, ive got an r33 gtst with quite a few mods done to it including full 3 inch exh with high flow cat, upgraded turbo, splitfire coils, k & n filter, heavy duty clutch, huge front mount cooler, running 18 pounds just to mention a few and im only getting 225 to 275 ks out of 3/4 of a tank, depending on how i drive of course. But when i got it, it was standard and i only got about 350 ks, so the more mods you do, the more feul she sucks.

should have got better mileage then that from a stock 33, is it tuned properly? (closed loop)

To answer your question, if your worried about fuel consumption. Sell you GTR. Its all in how you use the accellerator.

Thanks for the reply guys, I'm not worried about the fuel consumption just wanted to know what to expect from her as it'll be my daily driver whilst I'm building a show car.

This is what she looks like just after compliance with 68thou K's on the clock, i know the importers so it wasnt wound back from their end.

I'm stripping it back today to respray her, cant stand the gun metal grey paint, its so common. Will be black with purple pearls.

More replies on consumption will be great :(

oh and how many ltrs is the tank?

Sacrilege!! I'll pretend I didn't hear that....

All the guys who have posted back to you here are Gts-t's, you need to run some searches, there has been alot said about the R32 gtr's fuel consumption.

From what i've read anyway, depending on the car, its not uncommon to see anywhere from 200-400k's out of a tank. Pretty big descrepency huh?

eyy mate i own a r33 gtst fairly stock but has a 4 inch exhaust running all the way through. really depends on how your drive it. if im nice it would get about 400-430 km out of a tank but if u hammer it it can be low 300's. enjoy man

    • @GTSBoy This method was able to get readings of -10 to -2, so it looks like its monitoring.  Now I need to figure out why the vacuum on the line provided isn't alternating with manifold pressure.  I went with 2 lines that an RB25 tuner recommended but I'll get a longer hose and try directly off the back of the manifold.  He may have been used to OEM intake setups while I have a DBW setup that removed the MAF and IACV.
    • I work at a car detailing and tinting shop called Quark which gets all manner of German cars in usually (mainly due to a contract with Mercedes Benz Kita Osaka, BMW Nishinomiya and others) but every once in a while something special comes in, like a fully restored 1972 HS30 Nissan Fairlady 240ZG... The shop owner had immediately started applying film to the windows as soon as it was in the shop so the interior was completely covered in towels and plastic sheets. But I could get a few photos of the engine bay which was restored like new. Such an amazing car to see in pristine condition in Japan these days.
    • Was going to say the car pulls up nicely everywhere, especially going into that last long right hander before the main straight. Looks like a lot of fun.
    • Hey Dave, welcome aboard! Good to see another soon-to-be Stagea owner here. The wagons are awesome — plenty of space, still got that Skyline DNA, and loads of potential if you’re into mods. Definitely post up pics when you get it, everyone here loves seeing new builds. What model/year are you looking at?
