Karen he's not gonna be able to pay for a few weeks yet....

Burnt out his cluch so its now down a Ivan's shop (cant rember the name of the shop but its down near Moss street, he's an importer but also does some fitting,) getting a new brass button and lightend fly wheel, cost him $900 so has no money for the next 3 weeks :(

HA HA HA

:(

there is a major storm on its way and damm its gettin dark already here in the cbd.

however, hopin that the miss indy finals outlay is as follows -

stage contains no roof or cover for the girls to strut their gear on.

the seating area of guest/patrons contains a roof/cover.

therefore, girls getting wet *ohhhhh yeh!!!!!* and patrons/guest (thats me) remain dry.

what a schweet idea!

be prepared to listen to his whinging about that button clutch :(

but that's a pretty awesome price lee! my clutch alone was more than that! :)

i need to order a new clutch soon,

he he he asking dan to do a rebuild soon and thought i should do the cluch as well while the engins out,

but i dont know what to chose,

seeing as ur going rebuild, get urself a decent clutch:

Jim Berry

I got his 'Full Monty' which is his top of the line clutch and its rated at 1000+HP, but u wont need anything near that.

but there's only like a $90 diffrence

he he he

but yeah Linh wont eva be able to drive it again if i get the button,

and organic is just like the ones we have in our car normally right?

:(

You might find that the pressure plate with that more expensive kit is only rated to 1050kg (2315lb) and it might give a light pedal feel still, as it's not very heavy. How ever, with a low rated pressure plate & aggressive clutch face (button), you wont get the same clamp force as with a heavier pressure plate with a tamer clutch face (organic mix). My clutch has a 1633kg (3600lb) pressure plate with a carbotics (carbon, steel & others mix).

Give jim a ring and have a yarn with him.

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
