Forgive me if this has been answered I swear I did search and came up empty.

I have just bought an R34 GT (non turbo) manual and wanted to know what the difference in the gearbox (strength/ratios), engine and brake setup is between a GT and a GT-T. I would like to swap the engine out with a genuine RB25DET from a GT-T and run it via a PowerFC. Is this possible with the GT (non turbo) gearbox?

Thanks in advance for any info you guys have.

I'm pretty sure that the gearbox would be the same... might be worthwhile confirming this with Nissan or someone with FAST.

I have a RB25DET Neo sitting around if you're keen

Thanks, for the offer satanic. What are Neo's going for roughly, haven't checked into it fully yet. It probably only requires the DET head wouldn't it? Anyone know about the bottom end differences?

Compression ratio is different and I don't know how they arrived at it. Probably just in the head but don't really know.

I don't think the gearboxes are the same. Are we talking manual or auto?

Search 666Dan's posts on here. He turbo'd his DE rather than going DET swap. I would think there would be some wiring differences.
