R33 Gts-t Price When Brand New

I've just bought a 1995 GTS-T Mspec and was curious as to what the price of the Car was brand new in Japan converted to aussie dollars. I understand that when the R32 GTR first came out in 1989 it cost $110,000 aussie dollars brand new.

I wish i could drive a brand new skyline tho, just to see the feeling. My car runs beautifully, but then in theory driving a brand new one would feel even better..

I've looked around for the new price of an R33, but cant find a thing.

i did a calculation a couple of weeks ago - it worked out to be about $40K for an r33 gtst s2 - thats cheaper than most cars here!!

Edit: its about 5,000,000 yen - and the conversion rate is around 80 yen to the dollar (i think)
